Standard of Canada men's Comm side

Some are saying Canada side is just a Big V level side. But surely Canada's best college kids would at least be a SEABL side if not a SEABL title contender.. Some of you may disagree..But is labelling the Canada side a 1st grade Big V side a bit harsh or fair? Surely they at least get SEABL status if not lowly NBL bench player status.. Would Bo Liu and Amritpal Singh make this Canadian side?

Yes they would make this side, they are grown men, and professionals and would make it purely off that and the lack of size of the Canadian team.

This is not there best group of college kids, all but 1 i think are from Canadian universities.

The group does not include:

Nickeil Alexander-Walker (VT)
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (UK)
Oshae Brissett (SU)

Isn't R.J. Barrett Canadian? Duke commit and projected #1 pick in the 2019 draft. And before someone points out that Ferguson was underwhelming in the NBL as an 18-year-old, there's a big difference between kids who are talked about as first round picks and the guy who goes #1.

Says something about the esteem in which the Comm Games are held that he'd rather do Hoop Summit than play for his country here.

Given that Barrett has played the last couple of years in USA high school system I'm not surprised he is playing in the Summit.
