Anon. That is a very similar team to the team I named first up.

I don't think Abercrombie starts. He is too inconsistent. I like a conger / Buford / Childress import and then have Abercrombie play a Ramon Moore type 6 man.

Isaac. Sosa was good. But he didn’t teally drive. Often didn’t play point guard instead played the two position. I understand he was the highest paid player. I reckon we could do better that’s all. Newbill defence was great and can play 1-2. I just rated him better. Ili looks to me he could start, but you need more than 2 decent guards. There is no one else in nz only really leaves an import position for the guard position. With Newbill and ili at 1. Why not get a specialist 2 guard? That was my thinking.


Ty Wynyard. Yes agree wildcard. Would be a disappointment for ty probably as he went to kyntucky with nba in his sights but hasn’t really come on.

Hawks - Delaney is a 4. Can’t play centre but is a 4

Other wildcards are gliddon and McCarron.

Further to my last post Childress type import is perfect. A 3 who can play 4

Only reason I have aborcombie starting as I think it's more important having an athleric rim protector off the bench then having a guy like conger over abocrombie. However if they can get Fotu or Webster it changes it all

Not sure how realistic it is getting both Webster brothers. But I think they need more dribble penetration and athleticism in the front court. The Webster brothers would give more than Sosa and Newbill Imo.
Would like to see Te Rangi back as well.

I also think if the get any two of Webster brothers and Fotu that would be very interesting. I don’t think they will get any. Corey has too much bad history there and Tai and Isaac aren’t ready to come back. But let’s pretend that get one Webster and fotu
