Pre Season Premier League Tournament 3rd-4th March
The Waikerie Community Sports Centre in South Australia's spectacular Riverland region will again play host to a basketball bonanza on the first weekend of March 3rd and 4th 2018.
Four South Australian Premier League Clubs - Southern Tigers (2017 defending champion), Central District Lions, Eastern Mavericks and the Sturt Sabres along with the best South Australian junior State teams (SA Country and SA Metropolitan) are to compete in this year’s Roundball River Rumble. Joining the competition for the first time will be the home side (Riverland Raiders) who formerly competed in the Basketball SA Premier League in the Early 2000’s.
Waikerie is situated on the banks of the beautiful Murray River, a mere 175 kms from Adelaide. With many teams unveiling new imports and recruits, it makes for a fantastic weekend of high quality hoops, wineries and sightseeing with free entry all weekend.
