Southern stacked their Div 3 team with some Div 2's 5 weeks before the end of season

Shows what kind of Club Southern are, quite dissapointing really, looked like Forestville came to play on a fair field against the real Div 3 Southern... oh well it's all over now, go North's!

I remember quite a performance from southern's u18 div 3 boys on this forum after the summer GF

really - i do not know why they really do it - most regulars know who is div 2 or 3. you can accept 1 or 2 players moving , allowing for injuries and form.

short term - it may be a win - but long term? smoke and mirrors move me think

Right on "Swans in a thriller", it may look good winning a GF, but is being a Big Fish really a good thing, what do you really learn from basically 'cheating your selves'.

I am lead to believe that the Tigers 18 Boys 2 team a number of players were put down due to discipline half way through the season.
This has left the Div 3 side to dominate and the Div 2 side to struggle and get smashed week in week out. I don't think it has anything to do with winning premierships.

No, only one player was meant to be dropped, the rest followed, want to dicipline your players then suspend them, don't screw the rest of the comp up, what do you learn from being dropped from a crap team, and being put into a final making side.

yeh suprising loss in U18 girls...
norwood shot a 3 on the buzzer (libby harrison i think)to send the game into overtime...exciting stuff...good quality basketball all game

18B-Forestville smacked a molitor-less West side...final margain around 26...

the u 18 div 1 girls is a very close grade - with some very tidy players.
with the results of the classics - any of the top 5 on their day can deliver

the sturt girls probably underacheived a little getting 5th - but hey - thats life at the top.

Re U/18 Boys Div3(Tigers v F/ville), I have no connection with either club, but did notice that Tigers appeared to be a cut above this level, although F/ville seemed to have conceded the game early and did some silly things throughout the game.
F/ville & Tigers had a much closer and more exciting game in U/20 Div2 with F/ville winning

What do you do to report a club that has put down all their best players for the finals e.g. Southern u183s from u182s team. I think it was quite unfair for Forestville who have been playing with the same team the whole season. #50 Southern i am sure has not played the required games to participate in a div 3 comp. Can anyone pls tell me what to do?

Go to sportingpulse and look up the junior by-laws re eligibility for major rounds. You will see it is by-law C13.
Then if you still want to dispute it and only if it affects your team directly you should get your club secrectary to query BASA as this is their role to do so on your behalf and stops the million of phone calls to get the same answer.
