Bullets vs United, Jan 20
With Brisbane lacking much to play for, how will this game play out?

I'm looking at the next couple rounds, and Melbourne should be putting a bit of a gap between them and the rest of the league by Feb 4.
Brisbane have choked it or been unlucky a good few time this season, a couple things going there way and this could be a lot closer than most would think. Melbourne by a few but if they think this is going to be easy and drop their guard and start like crap the game could be gone.

Would normally love Brisbane in this spot but not sure if they find the motivation again today after so many kicks to the groin

Just about everyone on the Bullets roster is out of contract at seasons end so you would think they would at least individually have the motivation to impress Lemanis & other teams.

Melbourne should never drop a game the amount of cash they throw at those players but they do. I think after a few upsets this round though they will try and ensure this isn't another.

Melbourne back at home for first time in a couple of weeks.
The game should be over at the half.
Expect a big bounce back game from Wesley as he was held well Thursday night.
Melbourne by 21.

Does Te Rangi's Dad own the team or something? He's a spaz.

More importantly, what's the deal with the refs reviewing? Is that what they were doing? They are allowed to review plays at any point of the game?

They're allowed to review some plays at any time, but that play isn't reviewable even in the last two minutes.
But it also (see the thread I just created) could not possibly have been a violation, so there was nothing to review anyway.
Just chucked $10 on Brissy when they got out to 10-1
Lets geaux Bullets
Vickerman been very smart by playing his bench for the last few months. Moller, smith-Milner, even hooley in parts looking good. Adnam might be injured.
It was quite funny watching 2 of the worst players I've ever seen in the nbl going head to head in smith milner and te rangi. Can anyone tell me one thing te rangi is good at?
Brisbane's coach is stuck with a game plan from 10 years ago that doesn't work. With that roster they should be much higher playing a faster pace 3 point shooting game instead of going inside to the bigs. Going inside to the bigs these days is pointless because they are so slow and awkward.

It was the Batman and Robin show - some of the shots Ware and Goulding were hitting were ridiculous

Happy that Moller and Smith Milner played valuable roles off the bench.
United is now clear on top. With 7 games left and 5 of them at home, their destiny is in their own hands, as they say.
Their issue now will be finding a way to get rotations that work once Andersen and Majok are healthy.

The only real weakness in Brisbane's offensive game is the possession game, they have the highest turnover percentage and the lowest o-board percentage.
At the other end their oppo has the lowest turnover percentage. Possession is nine-tenths of the law in the NBL.
With Perth steep decline you have to say it's uniteds title right now.
One thing Te Rangi is good at - turnovers.
Please refer to him as TO Rangi for the remainder of the season.
