Laws of physics.
Short answer: sudden deceleration caused by impact with immovable object at the "wrong" angle.
The laws of physics contraindicate any combination of:
consumption of axcessive alcohol and/ or other drugs;
poor judgement;
low level of coordination;
youth, inexperience and a delusion of driving adequacy;
medical events such as heart attack, stroke or seizures
whilst operating machinery such as motor vehicles.
Eliminate, control or ameliorate the effects of all of the above and you will reduce the road toll by about 90%.
Many vehicle collisions are secondary to a medical condition rendering someone incapable of driving, whether it be physical or mental impairment. And yes it can happen that quickly. Until autopsy and major collision investigation departments put forward their reports a cause cannot be determined. A young man has died so please refrain from comments without facts. Show some respect.

Hopefully it prompts the council to upgrade the car park facility.
car park has been upgraded recently - article says burn outs, but not sure if it was this driver doing burnouts. Either way 19 is far too young to die
