SEABL 2018

Its that time of year when teams start putting their squads together.

With another new team it will be interesting to see if they can attract players from the benches of other seabl teams.

A number of teams have already signed imports (seems rather early to me) including Ballarat, Hobart and Diamond Valley.

Kilsyth look like they are putting together a decent team. I am hearing that Adnam will be back which make them a real contender.

I assume that mt gambier will have all of their usual suspects back and fill with a couple of imports to again be near the pointy end.

Would be great to hear of rumored signings and possible player movements.

Hobart have signed Tre Nichols from the SBL. IMO along with Daniel Alexander he's been the best import not in the NBL the past few years. Anthony Stewarthas also flagged their interest in Jacob Holman from Goldfied. Also hearing rumours he's chasing some guys from Adelaide.

Kilsyth certainly very active early. The clubs you've mentioned, do you have names of the imports they have signed?

I think that Ballarat have re-signed the same imports as season 2017.

i would be surprised if mt gambier loose any of the locals (excluding sutton who has retired).

dandenong have already lost one from them deep bench at the end of the year. would expect them to lose couple more who are seeking more court time.

nunawading i expect will be very similar again in 2018. you would think conn's output would have to slow down he certainly isnt getting younger. even if he gets the offensive numbers he will be exposed more and more on the defensive end.

Conn's age shouldn't be a huge factor the dude hasn't moved quick for the last 6 years and his numbers have pretty much stayed the same and they work around him on D.

A bigger Drop for Conn might come when MacDonald starts to slow down as he is 33 come mid season so you'd expect him to start slowing down soon even thou he is always in great shape you can't beat father time.

Nunawading will be there or there about's again thou as the above mentioned two are still class at SEABL level.

without kendle (too good for seabl really) and johnson and to a far lesser extent white they were average. Their core group is average.

kendle immediately makes them contenders although he will need support, not sure about new import but if is good and they can have someone fill whites spot to that level they will contend again and would do so with a 12 year old coaching them.

There is no "lucky loser" in AFL Finals system.

Game 1: 1 v 4
Game 2: 2 v 3
Game 3: 5 v 8
Game 4: 6 v 7

Game 5: Loser Game 1 v Winner Game 3
Game 6: Loser Game 2 v Winner Game 4

Game 7: Winner Game 1 v Winner Game 6

To assume that the Pioneers success is based on spending is very misguided. The key players in 5 championship runs have been constants. Daly Hill Burdon and Sutton are South Australian and now have very permanent connections with the Mount.
Heaven forbid they may just like playing the game in a great environment with good team mates not to mention winning.
These four have been supplemented with one or two good imports each of the last five seasons. Luke Jamieson came from Canberra where he played modestly. Majok Deng is another SA player and my understanding is that the Pioneers will be all ozzy. BTW Mount Gambier is probably the only semi pro team that receives no funds from a local junior program. Believe what you want but they certainly are not big spenders.

Reply #669404 | Report this post

What I don't understand is how SEABL don't insist on Mt Gambier having a women's team. They have a massive advantage because they only have to fund one program. You take away the women's team from nearly every other team in the league and they would probably play in five straight grand finals too. New teams entering the league are told they have to have both a men's and women's program but Mt Gambier are allowed to continue putting all their money into just a men's team. Makes no sense to me.

GM

Not withstanding the Mt Gambier population is around 28,000 - significantly the smallest of all SEABL Clubs. Albury 50,000. Town's that make up NW Tasmania around 50,000. Bendigo/Ballarat 100,000 each. I would make a general comment that the size of the Mt Gambier economy is less per capita than all of the above centres.

Who cares what a team spends its not like there is a salary cap.

Good luck to them if they have money but Mount do recruit smartly targeting SA born and bred players who want a better level of comp than the CABL which isn't very competitive.

If the players stay long term and start families etc in the area it is great for all involved long term as those guys rarely leave and they don't have a local rival who will be attempting to recruit those guys unlike teams in the Melb Metro area so it certain keeps a lid on what they'd need to pay guys anyway.

Tre Nichols arrives in Hobart.
Paywall article.

" HOBART'S newest import comes with plenty of hype and Tre Nichols is ready to set the SEABL alight when the Chargers kickstart their season next Friday. Nichols might be small in stature at 175cm but he is touted as an excitement machine and aims to hit the ground running when the Chargers host Kilsyth at the DEC. The Texas-born point guard is no stranger to Australian basketball having spent three seasons playing with the South West Slammers in Western Australia, and arrived in Hobart on Tuesday following a stint in Saudi Arabia, which he feels will have him primed for the physical nature of the SEABL.
"It was a good experience, to get over there and experience that entire Middle East-type culture, it was great," Nichols said. “Over there it was more physical, the game is really physical and they played some good basketball. “There was a lot of athleticism in the league as well, it definitely helped my game.
“Being around the game in Australia, I know the guys get pretty rough as well, but the Saudi Arabian league, getting over there and exposure will help me for this next chapter.”
While new to town there is one familiar face within the Chargers camp in Mathiang Muo, with the pair having been opponents in the WA league.
Nichols, who is likened to last year’s guard Chris Whitehead but with a deadlier perimeter game, is looking forward to joining forces with Muo rather than trying to curb his influence.
“We had previously had talks about playing with each other and teaming up, the opportunity presented itself and we jumped on it,” Nichols said. “I enjoy the game of basketball, I play the game with my emotions on my sleeve and I feel like me as a player, I can bring a lot to the team, a lot of excitement to the fans and hopefully get us a championship his year. “They play an exciting style which was another factor which drew me here.”

Moller was the only bright spot for the Chargers. A bit too aggressive at times to score but he was trying. Tre ended up with 25 but it was an impactful 25. Moller is gonna have to score but also create for others if they stand a chance of winning anything. Their guards (bench included) are to weak. They need a wing that can shoot and slash badly.

Pioneers no brad hill no deng thought the $6 for Albury was value but it was not. Pioneers spanked them winning 127 to 94. They had 37 in the first quarter. Tommy Daly with40/5/11. Burdon with 26. Shows why they win championships. None of them play for there own numbers but buy into team first attitude. Daly should be in the Nbl. Burdon one of the best shooters in the country and a smart player should have far more Nbl gigs than he did. Deng will develop a great deal in their system. Nbl clubs are crazy if they are not leaning on coach hill or trying to get him involved with there programme. Their usual deep bench guys can hold there own. Albury might not end up being much but pioneers will make it back to the big dance again. Their club just get it.

FDBA MEMBERS URGENT EVENT

LIFE MEMBER - SENIOR DOMESTIC MEMBERS-BLUES MEMBERS

IT IS NOW TIME TO ACT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH YOU MUST ATTEND IF YOU CARE AT ALL ABOUT THE FUTURE OF THE CLUB

On Monday the 23rd of April the current board are holding the Annual General Meeting at the Frankston Stadium at 7pm.

THIS IS A MUST ATTEND EVENT

This might seem like a normal activity however IT IS NOT. The current board have not met the constitution rules by following the guidelines with the Annual General Meeting. The rules state clearly.

RULE
13. Notice of general meetings [including annual general meeting]
(1) The General Manager of the Association, at least 21 days, or if a special resolution has been proposed at least 30 days, before the date fixed for holding a general meeting of the Association, must cause to be sent to each member of the Association, a notice stating the place, date and time of the meeting and the nature of the business to be conducted at the meeting.
(2) Notice may be sent
(a) by prepaid post to the address appearing in the register of members; or
(b) by facsimile transmission or electronic transmission; or
(c) by the display of notices in prominent positions in the Frankston Basketball Stadium (3)

The board are hiding the meeting from all the members and there has been 1 single A4 notice placed on the board at the back of the stadium (not multiple and definitely not in a prominent position). This is the way the current board wants to avoid a take-over or new board members joining that are not pre-selected people by them.

The Constitution also states that only Life Members and Senior domestic team delegate of which there are 356 can vote.

BUT HERE IS THE PROBLEM AND WHY WE ALL NEED TO TURN UP

The FDBA current board made the date the 23rd of April and the rules state you must give 21 days notice which means the single notice we assume was placed in the back corner on Easter Monday ( stadium was closed so it must have been a special trip) the centre was closed for domestic and Blues for the next two weeks which then HAS NOT allowed anyone to nominate outside their pre-arranged people.

The rules state nominations must be delivered to the General Manager of the Association not less than 14 days before the date fixed for the holding of the annual general meeting. This means that from the the 2nd of April to the next date the 9th of April when the stadium was closed to competition and members the single notice in the back corner did not allow any nomination to be submitted prior to the 14 days.

The action of the current board and management are showing a total disregard for the members and are hiding their actions:

It is time for a new board we need more than 3 member to be present to put forward a poll as per the following rule

18. Poll at general meetings [including annual general meeting]

(1) If at a meeting a poll on any question is demanded by not less than 3 members, it must be taken at that meeting in such manner as the Chairperson may direct and the resolution of the poll shall be deemed to be a resolution of the meeting on that question.

(2) A poll that is demanded on the election of a Chairperson or on a question of an adjournment must be taken immediately and a poll that is demanded on any other question must be taken at such time before the close of the meeting as the Chairperson may direct.

WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE WITH EVERYONE

THE POLL QUESTION IS AS FOLLOWS TO BE PUT FORWARD BASED ON MORE THAN 3 MEMBERS LIFE MEMBERS OR SENIOR DELEGATES:

SHOULD A MOTION BE MOVED TO CANCEL THE CURRENT MEETING AND THAT A NEW MEETING BE HELD IN 21 DAYS AND ALL POSITIONS BE MADE VACANT AND NEW NOMINATION BE ACCEPTED BY A REPRESENTATIVE FROM BASKETBALL VICTORIA, WHO SHOULD CONDUCT THE NEW ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING IN 21 DAYS TIME.

DON'T STAND BACK STAND UP AND HAVE YOUR SAY

PLEASE CLICK YES TO ATTEND

Not sure how much Mt Gambier are paying but you'd reckon Deng, Daly, Jamieson, Thomas, Hill and Burdon would all be on good coin. Thomas is their sixth man and is probably earning more than a lot of starters in the league.

Why haven't SEABL forced them to enter a women's team? They've been in the league for 30 years without ever having to have a women's team. That gives them a massive advantage over the rest of the league. I'm surprised the others clubs allow it to continue.

It's got nothing to do with their recent success. It's about having a level playing field which SEABL doesn't have if most of the clubs are forced to pay for two programs whilst others are allowed to only have one.

NW Tas don't have a women's team, Sydney admitted without a mens team. Launceston don't have a mens team. No one had a problem when MG could hardly win a game for about 8 years. They have built success on a good core of young SA players that wanted to play SEABL and ended up staying in MG.
Friday night everyone other than Thomas and Luk (young SA guy) have been living in MG for 6 years or more or in 5 cases all of their lives. BTW they have no restricted players. Perhaps some other clubs should look closer at what they are doing and not put it down to spend.

My point exactly. It's not just about Mt Gambier and their recent success. It should be the same rule for everyone. If you want to play SEABL, you should have to have a men's and a women's team.

You can say what you like about all those guys living in SA; it doesn't change the fact that they're able to put all of their resources into one team when (nearly) everyone else has to pay for two.

While four teams are allowed to only have one program the league is never going to be equal. You said the other clubs should look at what they are doing. I can tell you what they're doing - paying for two teams while Mt Gambier and others only have to pay for one. Spin it any way you like, it's a massive advantage that in my opinion, the league shouldn't allow.

SEABL being the second tier below NBL could be a lot better if they scrapped the womens' teams. Imagine how much more money could be invested in the men's sides and grow it to a national second tier league.

Who is forcing these clubs to have two teams? Isn't it the choice of each individual club? Mount gambier doesn't have the luxury of huge junior associations funding their teams. Teams from larger associations and larger population basis have greater access to players to retain and recruit. They have far more opportunities to generate income/sponsorship. Teams from such areas have a significant advantage certainly significantly less travel costs for Melbourne teams

Actually, in most clubs the domestic competitions pay for both the women's and men's teams. Anyone who has seen a balance sheet knows that the SEABL teams are a massive drain on club funds.
Additionally, any sponsorship that is linked to a SEABL program is really about the club's membership base, because there is almost no media profile associated with being a sEABL sponsor.

Its crazy that clubs are forced to have both teams.

I think you'd find certain clubs would be more successful if they only needed to focus on 1 team rather than 2.

It alos wouldn;t just be about resources either as certain clubs have a history of producing great womens talent and very strong womens programs and vice versa.

Mt Gambier aren't the only stand alone club without a junior association.

If the league aren't going to make it compulsory to have both teams then all teams should be given the option to drop one of their programs.

Pretty sure that won't happen so I think the four single team clubs should be forced to start a second program.

Forget diversity and inclusiveness in 2018. To win a title, just scrap half your senior pathway and expect the money to be redistributed to the 'important half'. Easy!!

What? The debate stems from the continous talk about SEABL becoming a legit second tier below the NBL. If that were to happen you can't carry the women along with you as you need to free up money. Obviously not talking about the current setup of SEABL. So quick to pull the trigger when you feel violated.

Certain associations might align themselves with the women side as some might jump to men but the bigger associations would still do both.

Think if anything it might make both mens/womens event stronger and deeper.

If you want a level playing field and you want SEABL to be a true second tier competition, every team should have to have both a men's and a women's team.

If the criteria is that you have to have both programs to enter the league (which it should be) then Mt Gambier and the others should have to do the same. Just because the rule wasn't there when they started shouldn't mean they get a competitive advantage now.

And the size of their population shouldn't come into it either. There should be a clear cut rule that says if you want to play SEABL you need both a men's and women's program.

Hobart never led till 37 second from the end against Geelong and Moller hits a 3, followed by two free throws to close out Geelong. Geelong led by up to 13 points and mostly between 6 to 9 so could be considered unlucky.

Winning or Development

What should SEABL teams be choosing between winning or developing local talent?
Every team has different philosophy's but I’ve noticed the Frankston Blues have gone for winning over developing locals and that hasn’t worked with a 1-7 record. With a total of 1/17 for the program.
How much money are they spending to get such a poor result do the figures how does the person who leads this program still have a position. Not blaming the players get what you can I say, the amount would be at least $250,000 all inclusive for a 1/17 record the worst in SEABL history.

The Blues men’s team last night has 2 local players on it with neither playing very much. One isn’t up to SEABL standard and the other wasn’t even playing junior Rep Basketball last season.
Two American imports and 2 naturalised Americans, Rhys Carter, they just signed Trist and he wouldn’t have come cheap.
Linton was brought back and offering nothing and then they sign a 30 year old in Moss who was cut from Hobart and was not wanted by any other Melbourne SEABL team at tryouts during the Summer.
Last years Coach was sacked mid season for not playing local kids and now this year the new Coach has 2 locals on his roster. Truth be said Wallace played and developed locals last year and it cost him his job.
Could be an interesting next Board meeting when the men’s Coach has to answer questions on why when they have spent a small fortune on the player budget that they have won 1 game.
Never fear his Dad is a board member and the GM who forks out the money for players is his assistant coach. How is this even allowed at a professional level where his Dad is on the board and his assistant is the GM?
Maybe the coach is smarter than everyone else by having those people positioned where they are. Just ask him and he’ll tell you how smart he is.
Don’t get me started on the women. They have the highest paid coach in the league, two imports, several high paid non locals and have been suiting up 8 players for games. It’s simply embarrassing to watch and not worth wasting time on. 0-8 and last years Coach was forced out after making the playoffs in his first year and just missing in his 2nd while playing heaps of locals.
Time for an independent review of all things Basketball down at funky town so they can stop being the butt of all jokes.

Teams who "preach" youth development over actual winning, its nothing but an excuse for having no money to bring in valuable imports. At that point what other choice do you have BUT youth development. Seabl is a league full of kids. The better teams i.e. Mt. Gamb., they having grown men. Thats why they win! Seabl needs new management to be honest that will hikd teams to higher standards- it'll be good for everyone in the end.

Frankston band Aid approach will not heal what has gone on down there. The fish rotts from the head, not only that there is a major seperation of all programs and all committees. What happened to the so called BASKETBALL Victoria investigation is it still going.

Why are the people involved not stood down until it's either cleared up or they are found out. Do they have a DOC you ask yes they do but they pay him to not work work and have done for 6 months. More people resigning from office along with a tainted culture. It gets written about, talked about but nothing can by done as the CEO is Protected by his mate.

The committee has no idea what is really going on and never will until it is exposed.

Who is the chairman of Blues what his experience in running and developing a program ???? His record is 1/17 the CEO record is 1/17 the president whoever that is record is 1/17 the committee record is 1/17.
Dont blame the coaches this record is on the aforementioned. Imagine if Grant Wallace had this record or MIke Brookens they would be their... oops sorry there not.

They have lost the money, CEO has lost his creditability, Cahirman of Blues has no idea and just rants stupidity without any common sense on Facebook.

The committee are blinded by the light and led by the avangelist CEO who is ducking and weaving faster and harder than tony mokbel.

The place is a discrace, through more Money into the SEABL it will not touch the service against the legal fees they have been paying and pay to try and hush the crowd.

What’s the solution.

Any ideas.....

The Mercury pay wall article on Coenraad and the Chargers W.
CHARGERS American import Tre Nichols again showed why he is fast becoming the most exciting point guard in the SEABL after helping guide Hobart to a pulsating victory over Mt Gambier.

In arguably the match of the season at the DEC on Friday night, the Chargers edged out the defending champion 108-106, with Kyle Tipene missing an open three-point attempt at the buzzer that would have snatched the win for the Pioneers.

Nichols scored 25 of his 36 points in the second half, catching fire late when the hosts needed him most after NBL veteran Tim Coenraad (39 points) went on a rampage for Mt Gambier in the first half.

Chargers forward Craig Moller gets airborne for a mighty dunk.
Nichols also dished out seven assists, including one to BJ Radcliffe who knocked down a corner three with 25 seconds remaining to put the Chargers up 107-104. Former Charger Lewis Thomas (25 points) dragged the Pioneers back to within a point following Radcliffe's huge bucket, and when Mathiang Muo only managed to convert one of two free throws with 9.5 seconds left, the visitors had time to send the contest into an extra period or snatch the win.

But the home side kept the ball out of the hands of Coenraad and sharpshooter Erik Burdon, forcing Tipene, who had attempted only six shots all night, to try to sink the last shot of the match.

"That was the reigning champs with their backs to the wall, I haven’t seen that high quality a game for a long, long time as far as the shooting, it was unbelievable," said Chargers coach Anthony Stewart.

“There were shots being knocked down everywhere, Tim Coenraad had 26 in the first half, but Tiri [Masunda] did a great job on him in the second. It was something to watch.”

Craig Moller finished with 27 points and 13 rebounds, while Muo (17), Zac White (12) and Masunda (11) ensured all five starters hit double figures.

The Chargers back up against Nunawading on the road on Saturday night.

I only watched on the live stats (and not the whole game, was flicking between a few games) it looked like one of Frankston's imports is injured again, they're still missing a starter who's out with an ankle injury, they're still missing their starting PG (if you're to believe the Steph Reid rumours) and it looked like Sammy Simmons did not play in the 2nd half, so possibly injured again. They've been disorganised in terms of their roster (only seem to have 8 players, from the start and then had a shocking run with injuries, that's sport. They're actually doing surprisingly well when you consider all of that.

Watched some of the Frankston/ Melbourne game today, their import was playing , so too Simmons who's been out with injury, doubt very much the addition of any player will change the format they have, and certainly not Reid, when you have Barr running the show .think it’s just wrong combination of players, very little defence and little depth off the bench, which adds up to a long season ahead for the Blues ladies.

Conn gets away with pushing, shoving and whacking, not certain how. Still very effective from ten feet of the basket.

Conn shoots the you know what out of it from Mid Range and for a dude that doesn't move super quick seems to get it done year in and year out. Really says alot about how good he is but also more about some of the other bigs in the league be very average, particularly at guarding the pick n pop action.

Anon #676 if you are referring to the Spectres game at the Supercats, CONN played 38+ minutes and did not pick up a foul while HICKS got the full quota of 5 fouls in just under 20 minutes.

I couldn't make that game but SEABL officials are not from the home Association, they are independent, so what is it you actually want to say?

Maybe they looked after CONN while calling everything HICKS touched? Or the opposite........?

Hicks got a tech for headbutting the ball off a Geelong score as his fifth - they'd already been warned. He got a couple of soft calls - one screening, I think, and another pushing in back on offensive rebound at the FT line.

Conn absorbs a lot of contact in the lane and is often hit on the elbow without the call. Stewie definitely wasn't happy late in the Hobart game and I'm surprised we haven't seen anything further from the league re the words used that forced his ejection.

stewie can seemingly do as he pleases without the league giving a rats including deliberately pushing a player during the course of a game without even a reprimand.

Miners beaten with the Chargers missing Mathiang Muo and Cameron Brown.
HUGE effort from the Chargers with the team trailing at every quarter.
Miners a lot of depth hoever with King-Davis in foul trouble that caused a few headaches for the Miners. Hooley is a freak with his ability to penetrate the Chargers at times poor defence. Slashing and driving for what appeared to be easy baskets.
Fox 8/12 from the field make it look easy too.
Interesting to see Mollers coach from United there as was Vince Crivelli.
Moller single handedly took the game by the neck and individually is one of the best games I have seen from any Chargers player. PLayer of the week without question.

Moller was unstoppable, two offensive fouls after scoring on what looked like and ones could had fifty. If chargers play defence and help Moller out at that end like they did in the second half today they could be very dangerous. Great game, thought Sam Short did a fantastic job on Tre Nichols, Hooley a couple good spin moves but was sent to Moller defensively but couldn't stop him. Fox very good for the visitors, got away with a few fouls early but the refs caught up with him. Zac White very good with great help from Thierry Masunda, BJ Radcliffe as well. Bench did there bit in front of a very good crowd.

The once might Frankston Blues men are a shadow of themselves
With the most inexperienced and least qualified coach in the league, tonight they lost to an U/20 team COE team who have struggled all year.
Interesting to see no miss spelt media releases this week about releasing import Aaron Ross.
Maybe we can vote on Facebook this week on who is the MVP of the game that they just lost to a youth team in. LOL
Questions need to be asked about how this team might be the worst SEABL team of all time. This is no
Joke.
Several of these players wouldn't start on Big V Div 2 teams.
Why recruit an ex Hobart 27 year old player who couldn’t score double figures in domestic A grade?
They start 2 Aussies that wouldn’t make 95% of SEABL rosters.
No wonder less than 100 people attend home games and nobody likes any of their Facebook posts.
On the flip side the women one their first game and celebrated like they were seabl Champions.
Who will Coach this team during the NBA summer league?
Maybe the GM?
Jolly Good Times down on the Peninsula. Just ask Basketball Victoria or the State Government.
The truth is out there???

Clearly just a hate post. Yes they are bad, but not as bad as the Gunners who have won ZERO games.
The CoE idiot are one of the best crops of kids for a very long time. Infact they have 7 wins along with a few others that make them equal 3rd.
Take the hate away and post the facts. Not your biased agenda.

"...the women one their first game..." I laughed and laughed and laughed. It might not be "miss spelt", but it isn't correct either.

Within the league, COE are expected to make the men's playoffs this season. They will have some consistency problems week-to-week due to playing over 20 different players, but they are tough.

The Frankston coaches know their issues more than anyone else. They both know that they don't have the depth or calibre of players to compete. Will definitely not be rebuilt in one season.

Stop hating and love the game!! There will always be some teams struggling each season. Swings and roundabouts...

Top five questions to ask the interim Frankston board and the Interim CEO and the interim Chairman of the blues program.

Has the Frankston import been sent home?

What is the salary cap for the blues program and is it under budget

What are the KPI's before some ones head rolls ?

What now the 12.7 million has gone?

How many people leave Frankston before something is done ?

What’s happening with the Basketball Victoria investigation ?

Oops oh well that was 6.

Anyone want to try and get 6 correct answers

Considering the money spent on the DV womens roster, it's not been value for money at any stretch, but it is basically Canberra’s WNBL from last season , all quite young and little cohesion or leadership.

Are McAughtrey and Porter still running the DV program?

Albury men definitely are usually much more competitive than the current roster .

Think Frankston both men and women need to go to,BigV, they get progressively worse ever year.

Well if these teams have to rely on just one player to win, then they need better recruiting lol
With the exception of Rangers who have two players going, the rest are either well out of top 4 or only have one player.
Rangers managed just fine before both Madgen and Lavey took the crt ( frankly both you would question selection of anyway)
So it should not have any effect at all. The two top teams don't have anyone missing and have beaten the other teams with their full squads.

Dandenong have been on a downwards spiral for several years in their junior ranks, and far too many of their regular SEABL players women especially have jumped ship the last two seasons . Coaching is an issue but also their development is not what it used to be., think they probably need to clean house starting from the top and get a rebuild , no succession planning been going on at any level for sometime
