If the US big they have apparently got in to replace Young can't hold his own inside I think they could make this interesting for a while, and if Kickert, Holt and Trice get hot then quite a while.
But if they're not hitting and they don't get help inside from their fill-in this could be a big margin.
I'll tip Phoenix by 30 as it's their last practice game and Lemanis has said he is going to share the minutes around. Hopefully it's close for at least a half though.
ESPN protecting Aussie viewers from the score so far :p
Good to know it's not just the NBL that can't run a scoreboard

Has anyone got the haifa v blazers audio mixed in with thus game's league pass stream?

Hey anon,
Yep 2 audio streams on League pass at least making it difficult to focus on Brisbane's struggle!
Is it just me or is anyone else getting two audio streams at once through league pass
This is one of the worst telecasts I've ever seen.
No sound to sound overlays from something else. No scores. Dropping in and out vision.
25 PT lead at qtr time, suns on track to win by 100
hahahaha oh my
Note to LK for next season: don't send your placeholder team to play against NBA teams

Bullets down by almost 30 at Quarter time
I bet about now LK is regretting not sending a good team like Adelaide or Perth over instead of a weak team like the Bullets.

Yeah, Brisbane and Sydney bottom two last year and quite possibly will be again, so not ideal.
Still, had the Bullets actually converted a decent percentage of the good looks they created that quarter the score would be a lot closer.
Why did the NBL think it was a good idea to send the NBL team with worst record (35% WL record) last season to play against an NBA team?
Brisbane singlehandedly undoing NBLs last two yrs of progress in 48 minutes.

Because LK owns the Bullets and no doubt Brisbane being a larger city than Perth or Adelaide probably played a part too.
The Kings invite was silly as they were always going to get pumped too but you can forgive that Sydney being the biggest city here.
IMO, the 36ers game style would've translated the best.
This is the only NBAxNBL played on the weekend our time so I assume the most eyeballs. Oh me oh my.

I stopped the stream at quarter time it's not even worth watching the Bullets are just playing like scared little kids.

You've got to have size and athleticism to compete with NBA teams. Sydney and Brisbane have the least size in the NBL and Brisbane have the least athleticism!

"Thank you so much, Tommy, for stopping by. We really appreciate it." (because yikes, what's happening out there is in desperate need of distractions)

Tell us about the facilities in Australia Tommy ... looks at watch.
Hahah you know its ugly when commentators have to start breaking down scoring comparisons by qtr rather than the total game
Lemanis has a grin on his face. Shocking attitude.

Lemanis was pissed off about being sent to Phoenix after round 1, in an interview he said they would mainly just use the game to help prepare for the NBL which is far more important, it shows, dissapointing for the national coach to not have a better attitude.

One real takeaway from this game is if Brisbane's transition D stays this bad Adelaide will beat them by 30.

Surprisingly they're outscoring the Suns this qtr and have cut the lead to 18. Lets see if they can do better than the Kings.

Booker said the Bullets are welcome back any time. Good signs for the NBL.

Bullets won 2 quarters, tied one and lost the first (by quite a lot).
Congrats to all three Aussie teams for doing us proud

Suns took their foot off the pedal in 2nd half but the Bullets did a good job to avoid having the worst margin of the 3 teams going there. So... based on these results, any guesses who might be the NBL wooden spooner this season? ;p

Full credit to the Bullets the way they stuck at it.
Their first quarter was different to Sydney's. The Kings couldn't get into offence and were bullied, whereas Brisbane executed well but missed open shots.
Their execution over four quarters was impressive, and I thought Trice, Gibson and Jervis really held their own.
Out of interest, the quarters won count for the three games was NBL 6, NBA 5 and 1 drawn. You've got to take the small wins!
Jerrett looked like he fit in well. Any chance Brisbane add him to the roster permanently?

Lol at everyone whinging about the Bullets.

The flipside of that is Brisbane had to travel from Perth to Phoenix to play, that's a huge trip and no doubt had an impact on their slow start and the amount of open shots they clanged early.
I was disappointed that the Bullets came out with a lack of intensity on defense and on several occasions didn't even get back on D.
I guess you'll have to put that down to the travel fatigue.
