2017–18 NBL crowds

Thought I'd create a thread purely for crowd stats.

It seems like the NBL is again going with not publishing crowd numbers. I can't find the attendance for last night's game via NBL, 36ers or newspaper articles. As I understand the boxscore at the game has it listed?

So this is a thread to share crowd numbers that aren't published. With the increase in crowds each season under LK why the lack of transparency?

Speaking of the towels, how did they go last night? I didn't notice them on the tv... but I didn't really look for them either

Thanks Aussie

I always try to look out for crowd numbers just out of curiosity. Frustrating that they rarely publish them.

Don't think Aussies really get the 'rally towel' concept. Maybe Perth fans will get behind it, would look great with their crowd.

Keep crowd numbers unavailable so easily = easier to persuade sponsors possibly. Especially when they will be comparing 6000 to 16000 or 50000. Also when it looks busier on TV people will be more inclined to purchase tickets earlier to the next home game they go to. When it looks empty or is known to be a walk up crowd then they'll just wait until the day. Couple theories.
