NBL on ABC Friday

I saw an add for Hawks vs Cairns on Friday at 11pm on the ABC main channel, i knew about the 2 live games on SBS, but will this be every Friday replayed on ABC as well?

Is NBL.TV dead then?

Foxtel, SBS, ABC, no official mention of NBL.TV

I just want to know if NBL TV is going ahead again this season. I don't want to sign up again and then no game on Day 1.

So each round there are an average of six games played.

Friday delayed on ABC, live on SBS Viceland on Saturday, and live on SBS on Sunday.

50% games on FTA... good effort.

I have a theory that the NBL is waiting to the last minute to announce NBL.TV so they encourage more people to watch on TV and increase ratings.

The last two seasons were about getting the Arab product right and this season is about ratings.

In order for the deal to be successful going forward. NBL and the network will want as many tuning in as possible. Not to a streamed platform.

I re-signed up for NBL TV today as there has been no communication that it will be free for members again this year. All the links to the streams for all of the round 1 games are there so I would say it's all still going ahead.

Not sure why they haven't been promoting it though.

That's my suspicion too last week they were pimping Fox and getting the first two weeks free or something then once the Sydney/Utah game is out the way tom they'll probably stagger it say re-announcing SBS tom, ABC deal on Wednesday and then NBL TV on Thursday.

NBL TV question while we're on the topic... can I start watching a game from the beginning an hour after it starts? Or do I have to wait for the full replay to be put up?
I've emailed the NBL about this twice in the last month. They have bothered replying.

Was hoping CPA Australia emailed us out free codes again. Otherwise I think the club emailed out free codes for NBL TV also. Looks like we have lost the free Telstra option.

Maybe NBL will make a little more if everyone signs up before the freebies are announced. Either way, looks for a great season and $5 a month is a great deal.

Telstra doesn't seem to be associated with the NBL anymore.

Why should it be anything to do with Optus?
