Melo Traded To OKC

Melo for Enes, McDermott and a 2nd rounder. Considering all the controversy and such, it's a win for both sides possibly. Knicks maybe should've gone for a first rounder though. Enes has a couple more years left on contract which sucks, but at less than Melo and does still have upside. McDermott a good piece also. OKC could be trouble, but how will Westbrook handle having 2 big dogs on the team with him and am emerging Adams?

Also. Creates a logjam at Center maybe for Knicks. However Porz, Willy and Enes roatation could be amazing

Zinga and Enes have played predominantly power forward over their careers. They'll work out the rotation pretty easily.

Loving these gunslinging teams like Houston, LAL, Minnesota and now OKC. Should be one hell of an offensive spectacle on a nightly basis

Sam Presti is an unbelievable gm. Okc wins this trade, knicks had little leverage and saved a few dollars. Making porzingas the face needed to happen

Yeah a good deal for okc. Gonna be interesting to see if PG and Melo will be happy as 2nd and 3rd options. For mine Melo is well suited to that role, its just a matter of him owning it

They wouldn't be able to rebuild while he is there. They can fully start now. Either big signings or through the draft. Can the New York fan base sit through a rebuild though ?

The Knicks fan base in NYC, and the ones abroad who think they are, are not going to wait. Which is why Phil had to sign him to a max contract to appease the stupid NYC fans. Unfortunately NYC will stay in this ever ending cycle of fringe playoff talent until the fans stop trying to dictate how the team is operated.

Upside is the Knicks now just need to trade Noah. Maybe package him with Enes or McDermott if possible for a pick or some young talent. They could still be playoff contenders (not champions though) this season and go for picks this next draft and big signings if they pull that trade off.

Wish Bogut had been signed by the Knicks this season. Can see him being a handy veteran and future big man coach. He would've surely helped get the young guys a bit better in the post.

This is gonna fun to watch. Will either blow up or be a team wreck. Feast or famine.
