a few seasons ago there were banners at the east end of the court with funny sayings about the opposition

Their was some good stuff there! :-)

I think the old banner competition should be re-introduced to encourage the youngsters to get the texta's out and mark up some board. adds to the atmosphere.

Maybe give a prize for the best banner over the season - take a little video tape of banners at each game - parade them on court at half time.

Throw them all up on the new big screen at the last home games and let the fans vote with their voices as to the winner!

Give the winner a nice prize of merchandise or some tix to finals.

(I don't know if Lett is even playing this year but he was a big boy)

- Hey Bailey: While You Looked At This Banner, I Stole Your Ferrari

These are actually, for the most part, rather lame - but at least I'm in contention for some merchandise and/or finals tickets.
