Ben Simmons officially will not play Summer League

Ben Simmons will not take part in the 2017 NBA Summer League as he continues his comeback from foot surgery, Sixers president of basketball operations Bryan Colangelo announced today.

There's not really much point in him playing summer league, so I wouldn't be too worried just yet. Hopefully he's good to go from the start of the season.
