Brock Motum and Ryan Broekhoff?

Will these two guys get Summer League invites?

Or have they given up on their NBA dreams?

How does not getting an invite mean they've given up on NBA dream?

Sorry perhaps I will rephrase the question.

Are they still considered a chance? Both are only 27 yrs old but perhaps NBA teams think they have reached their potential and prefer to invest in young players with higher ceilings?

Utah might feel they have a full Aussie quota now with Creek.

Motum was brought in twice by the Jazz in '14 & '15 but they didn't bother last year which would suggest they've since moved on from him.

Coach Lemanis gave Ryan a lot of opportunities at the Olympics to stake his claim....I think he has missed the boat!!

LC, no offence but what does this have to do with his NBA ambitions?

Have heard Brock was offered a contract by the Jazz prior to the start of this season. If true, perhaps he knocked it back for guaranteed Euro $$$.

He was only on about $350K this past season in Lithuania, unlikely he'd not risk that for a chance to play in the best league in the world for potentially millions of dollars.

Look at Ingles took a punt no doubt knocked back some good euro offers (he was on a lot more than Motum too) got cut right at the end by the Clippers and then immediately picked up by the Jazz, made five million the past couple of years and now set for an even bigger payday.

If Motum is knocking back an NBA contract with any sort of guarantee in it (even without) to play for peanuts relatively speaking in Lithuania he needs his head read or a better agent.
