It only says tipped to sign with them, not officially signed. It is most likely true though, but definetly don't jump the gun yet.

Should be a decent local signing for the bench.

So (if correct) United's backcourt is so far:
1. CG43
2. Adnam.
3. Dillon.
4. Import ?

So this lends credit to the theory that Tomlinson is gone?

Who would take Tomlinson?

Adelaide - Sobey + Teys + Import + Tomlinson???
Cairns - Gliddon + McCarron + Weeks + Import
Illawarra - Martin + Clarke 9+ White + Norton
Perth - Martin, Kenney and Webster + DKD + Import.
Sydney - Cadee + Lisch + Import + Tomlinson???
NZ - Penney + Ili + Import + Tomlinson???
Brisbane - Gibbo + Bruce + Kenyon + Import

"Who would take Tomlinson?"

No one.

Kind of a joke Dillon had to toil in Europe while Tomlinson had an NBL gig.

Adelaide has Doyle behind Sobey sharing PG duties with Randle/Import, so no room there either.

Tomlinson should probably just play social league.

Actually i think sydney would be a good fit. They desperatly need a local ball handler and Tomlinson can set up an offense and play defense in a kevin white-ish way. Pair him in the back court with lisch/cadee and an import 2/3 to spilt minutes with newley and put cadee back on the bench to score in the second unit.

Tomlinson lead the league in assists a few seasons ago, and no its wasn't just feeding CG43.

I'm surprised Dillon hasn't been back in the NBL before now. He'd be a good pickup for a few teams. He's a solid shooter, very good defender, and not too much of an ego.

Just don't trust him not to piss off to another club with your imports.

Wow. Let's hope the European experience has improved his game.
