New sporting pulse system is all over the shop!
Come on BA, this is a flagship tournament! Got to be better than this
Umm, crazy people. It all appears to be working just fine.
Can you post the link for the competition stats, I can't find it??
There is no comp stats, 20's from six weeks ago is there but no 18's. Perhaps BA should have tested it first.
Not sure what you guys are going on about, I can see boxscores for all games played so far on SportsTG.
Normally there is a competition stats on who is doing what! Local competitions even have this and normally so does Nationals!
Very poor from whom ever is running the tournament
Box scores are different from overall accumulative stats.

Under "Competition stats" the page is blank.
I wish BA would address this
This is typical BA! Third day of a major championship and it is amateur hour!
Very Old

"I can find them, what's wrong with you people?"
the rest of us are not BA employees , reading the stats sheets off our email because we take Friday arvos, and Monday mornings - off to help compensate us for the stress of working in a sport where so much occurs outside of monday-friday weekday working hours.
I expect to see you back at work at 2:30pm sharp monday. ;)

Some of the Livestats feeds have frozen as well. They only show half of the game.
Definitely no Comp Stats available and some of the boxscores haven't been updated either.
Should be that hard should it?

It's a junior sport or tournament that costs shit load attend. I reckon asking for a better service "stats" isn't over the top.
That's for Flights, accomodation, transport, food etc?

Wow in that case for $2.5K there should be working live stats etc.
Junior sport that for some will lead to college scholarships and possible career and education opportunitites. Players will be being scouted for various opportunities and pathways. They work hard and so do their parents to pay for this expensive sport and time put in as well. Beside its all about professionalism and expectations comparative to the same sport around the world. Don't belittle those just asking for what is appropriate at this National level and in the past been available. This new platform has lot of issues even at a local level. It is not user friendly and don't get me started on the registration and password issues as a parent. It needs an account format for starters for each family/player. The list is long so keep complaining people until some action is taken or a competitor catches on and offers a better service.
So expensive, are state bodies taking cream off the top?
I think the $2500 is for total cost of player attending the champs.
So over $2000 would be for airfares, accommodation, food, bus hire /travel at the games, uniforms, cost of traveling coaches managers etc. Probably less than $200 per player would be for the actual competition entry fee.
That said the sporting pulse website, live sates etc is shocking and needs fixing at all levels, not just nationals, but state leagues and local leagues etc.

If you can't find the competition stat leaders for the 2017 U18 Men/Women Nationals, then you are dead set retarded. Consider finding an alternate career to keyboard warrior because you are an absolute failure at it.
It only became available last night after round 2.
Moderator please delete Boti Faker due to his insensitive slurs using words that are offensive to people of disabilities. Appalling language and inferences.

Competition stats are updated now, as of today. Enjoy.
Complaining about the word retarded is retarded. How many more words are going to be banned by these PC looneys?
An expected reply. One day if you are unfortunate to have a brain injury and have to endure people calling you that mame while you completely understand what people are saying but cannot respond due to your failed body, then and maybe then you will understand. It is not PC, just what good human beings understand out of respect for those less fortunate. And this site needs to show respect to those not able to fight for themselves, just as juniors are portected from being named on this site. Expecting more comments back bit this is my last response. I hope the moderator has respect as well...

U18 vic metro girls were badly chosen no shooters and no guards.
Waiting for disaster to happen, especially when selectors have their own agenda leaving the head coach stranded.
Let's hope next year they choose more wisely!!

#633544 same thing has happened with the Metro u16s selection and they will get the same result if not worse.
Selection needs to be put into the hands of people who are not associated with that age group and at least it will be then be seen to be non biased
I agree, this years u16 selection was well off.
See what happens I guess.

The two best guards were not selected and the two best shooters were not selected.
It was the pride of one selector to have all his girls in.
Check Facebook photos.
The best way is to have a panel of independent experienced coaches at a high level, and not ones with an agenda!!

The u16s last year were well selected and well coached, isn't it the same coach?

One player stands out in u18s over the rest not a guard or shooter, but overlooked.
I will name her Kobe!

Watching a lot of the high performance players has me thinking they can play, but their basketball IQ is low and it really stands out.

When the opposition can play zone it means there're not worried about your shooting ability.
Nothing to do with selection, they were simply outplayed by a better team, it's happened before and it will happen again, gone are the days of Vic metro being the best, they need to realise that other teams can and will beat them.
kobe was reserve and pretty Similar to Ayres. Better inside, worse outside.
I thought locandro would have helped in the post butnshe wasn't even a reserve. Nor energiser bunny Ellis.

Has everything to do with selection make poor choices, your behind the 8 ball.
Then of course the team is more vulnerable.
Of course there are great players outside Vic.
Should have picked Babic. She was a reserve and a scorer.

Locandro injured not considered Ellis not a team player but a good player.
Babic can shoot it for sure. Not a great defender or ball handler though.
None of the reserves would have made any significant difference.
Kelly, Babic, King-Hawea, Lovelace or Tanner.
How was locandro injured if she's been playing scw?
Didn't make camps?
2018 maybe.
Poa/Ellis
Lopes/Jenkins
Potter/Babic
Hollingsworth/Edmanson
Anstey/Locandro
Maybe a few changes.

2018 there's a lot better than that.
Let's hope no selectors agenda and we have wise heads.
Bad attitudes at try outs put a line through quite a few who could have made it on talent.
Well if a team losers by 40 like vic metro.
Doesn't it say something about the defense

Locandro travelled to east coast dnp
Basic didn't go well in 16s wild shots.
None of the 02 bigs (Evans, Keating, tsantarlis) are as good as a Hollingsworth, Anstey or locandro at this stage so the front court is unlikely to,change in 2018.
It's all in the backcourt.
Wow that girls grand final was a stinker. It was close, but awful, awful game. A mile off the standard of last year:
^ yes have to agree, the overall standard of that grand final was way down on some years, not a lot of standout moments, but a hard fought contest purely because they traded baskets for most of the game, when they could actually hit the basket.
how tall is Keating, will she start over Evans?
I'm surprised tsantarlis wasn't chosen.

Keating plays a 3 or 4, Evans plays a 5 completely different positions ...
she will play in the post. As 4-5.
Apart from Evans a 5, Baldwin a 4, the rest are 1, 2, 3s.
