World uni games

How do players put their names forward for the world uni games basketball squad?

Basketball Australia and coaches will do it by invite as a part of the senior/junior programs. Its an established part of the pathway.

They won't bring in USA college players as they can't train as a group and USA colleges won't give them time off either as they will be preparing for their own season

Aussie WUG teams usually have US based players. Is this year's timing different to impact that?

Paul - timing is good - late August so they can bring College players. And they will probably bring those who have been part of the system before - former COE/AIS like guys from St. Mary's, since they will not have much time to prepare.
