Illawarra Hawks forward Cody Ellis played his first SBL game of the season, contributing 11 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocks in a narrow loss to Rockingham.

The Senators were led by Perth Wildcats development player Rhys Vague, who ran close to a triple-double with 24 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assists.

Corban Wroe, meanwhile, finished with 6 points and 6 assists.

Is Wroe too old for a DP spot now? Surely he won't get a full roster spot.

I like your list of the future wildcats core group. Should be a lot of wins there.

Potential is there for sure to eventually take over the current group, I think those 4 have the required confidence and being in a organisation and culture like Perth's certainly helps.

Much like Kay and Norton look like the next Knightmare and Damo. Good to see some decent local young talent in the league.
