Always was an issue with someone like Macca at the Spectres. Chalkie by trade and the desire to play NBL Vs Salary has always been an issue.

Some Big V coaches get popcorn, but others only get the crumbs that fell on the ground during the movie

Shane McDonald.
Most head coaches get a modicum to assist them.
I don't any full time head coaches.

I would guess on average 5 or 6 for both leagues. Few higher many lower.

So training and doing individuals, running clinics, away games. game prep isn't worth $10K?

Would be worth every bit of $10000,but there are some mercenaries out there who try to make it a full time living and spread themselves a bit thin by taking on to many roles and eventually something has to give, and usually it's to the long term detriment of the program they are involved with.

It's never been a full time job unless you were employed within a club as something else and do the extra coaching duties for which you would get extra.
