Should the NBL change its name?
The USA is the pinnacle in many things, undisputedly for Basketball. So they can call their league THE NBA, and everybody knows what it is.
But NBL is completely generic, and translated literally, most counties would have a "NBL"
(Or "League National of Basketball" etc)
Kiwi's already refer to ours as the ANBL to avoid confusion.
Mainly I am thing if the league wants to attract viewers in Asia, then something more descriptive is desirable.
I toss up between something basic & obvious, like "ABL" (Australasian) or the "O-League" (Oceania.)
Or going for something more animated.
