hey does anyone no why only div 1s play at Mt. Barker (and only in the winter season), personally i like the trip up there and they have a pretty good venue??
Mt Barker stadium is not BASA owned, it is owned by the local council, so they must hire it for games.
That is why it took us 8 or so years to even get games up there, and even stil its not half/half (home/away) like it is for other 'member' clubs.
5 div 1 nights will be held there during the up and coming summer season and some div 2 games will also be played up there. This season the under 16 girls and boys 2 have had some games as well.

Why would anybody want to play there.......not a sprung floor. And as previously posted, scores still missing on sporting pulse because they don't get their sheets in to BASA.
we had to keep stopping the Game on friday night so the floor could be wiped up from the leaking roof. yep great place to play, NOT!!!
is someone bitter about their loss?
I heard South Juniors as a club performed quite poorly on friday night.
I hate driving up there for games.Especially coming home during winter.Id rather drive to starplex!

why should we bother going up there, when they forfeit their games down here!!!
#47139 you dont like the drive to mount baker for games well maybe they dont like the drive to town and starplex but they still do it mount barker and mavs should be getting the same amount of home games as everyone else
