Where did you view that?

One positive thing is that it is known early at least. Where's Warnambool?

Was that their choice ?

Of course it was their choice, the building extensions were driven on the back of them being in State Championship. (From the Presidents mouth 3 years ago). Council would not approve the design while playing Div 2 so they had to ensure by hook or by crook that they goy winning championships. If that didn't work they could rely on their "contacts"in Big V to give a helping hand.

Why what's happening with Geelong?

Nothing by the looks of it, I was wondering if the Big V would allow them to participate while still is SEABL, that was all...

Geelong SEABL is a seperate entity to the association that enters the Big V teams.

Word was that Big V would not allow senior men/women to a program that also enters SEABL. They are no longer separate entities anon, not in the eyes of those who make decisions and not in the eyes of those that see the Supercts logo on all uniforms.

Although, technicalities probably still exist in some legal argument...

Gelder, yes, was referring to Warnambool and wether or not it was a choice to remain in D1. As Champions, I thought they would have first choice regarding promotion.

I had wondered about whether Warnambool would want to go up if they weren't sure whether Sobey would return next season. They may not have wanted to, Bulleen probably needed to come down to Div 1, so it opened the door for Casey.

Sobey not returning for Warrnambool and with juniors going to USA or Uni in Melbourne it would be hard to sustain that type of level in Championship even with Sobey.

Lanard Copeland to coach Sunbury in Div 1 now, moving across from Hume City (SCM).

Ringwood have also got their two new imports confirmed for next season, similar backgrounds to previous guys that they've brought across. Both straight out of college (I think..)
