"Anyone think bogut is overrated at this stage of his career? Baynes might actually be the better all around player. Bogut only plays one end of the floor and in a selective manner"
Lol. Wash your hands after writing that shit. But with all seriousness, Baynes is the one dimensional player. He offers no defensive upside. He is only baseline level of athleticism but his lateral movement is sometimes Aleks Maricesque. Baynes can score in bunches when he is on his game, or he can miss a bunch of sitters, make stupid decisions, and make you wish he was never born. He was always better suited to being Bogut's serviceable back up on this team. The only thing Baynes can do more than Bogut is score.
"Spot on.
His ability to make precise passes out of the post, set intelligent screens and rebound make him valuable offensively, and as he showed against NZ he can still make some big plays around the basket.
Defensively he is exactly what this team needs in order for the guards to be aggressive. The perfect guy to anchor the D."
Yep. Bogut is the anchor to this team. My only question is how will he be used, for how many minutes, and how fit is he?
