When on the bench, what is expected of players?
Should they be vocal and positive to the guys on the court...
Should they be silent, solemn and philosophical concentrating on the game...
or should they be relaxed and joval talking to the other bench players?
Does this change depending on age, division etc.
What are your thoughts?
IMO i think it depends on the situation and the players involved.
some relieve nerves by being talkative, some withdraw into themselves.
i think you need a bit of everything you said but at varying times of a game or games as the situation warrants.
