Why weren't they considered metro then? Are the teams even? Shouldn't we try to send a team that can compete for medals?

I am fairly certain all of the 10 SAC boys selected are country zoned?
2 Barossa Valley, 2 Adelaide Hills, 2 Port Pirie, 1 Naracoorte, 1 Victor Harbor, 1 Riverland & 1 Mount Gambier.
Three of these boys are in the metro NITP squad if that's what your referring too??
The centrals and Mavs lad both made it last year bottom age and the other centrals lad was a reserve. All three are in the metro elite squad.
Where they live??? Certainly get the best of both worlds and would have put the metro team in the medals for sure.
Unless you consider the family home to be any home owned by any member of the family then there are 2 that have sold the family home and moved in to what basa consider to be metro
The rules and boundaries are not policed at all, and families play the system. The powers that be in BSA, need to seriously look at situations in which this is manipulated. Country basketball will never complain as their teams are not strong and the 2-3 kids that should be classed as metropolitan are overlooked.
I feel sorry for those country players that are genuine country reps. It's those families that "fudge" the rules that costs their kids a place in teams.
The Centrals boys are both 100% inside the metro boarder.
