Most likely be re-signings. There are whispers of Greg Hire to Hawks so maybe he is one of them.

Former NBA #1 draft pick, Anthony Bennett was recently seen in Wollongong staying at the Novotel.
He was heard to be saying that he is looking for a fresh start in a smaller city to re-ignite his passion for the game.

Weeks is killing them in the SEABL. Interesting that both Southwell import and Weeks just played the Melbourne Tigers on Sat. night. Be interested to know what Gaze thought of them.

both good signings, but building up to announcements of re-signings is pretty frustrating. no reason these couldn't just be announced together and not get our hopes up.

Yeah, not sure about the build up for Kev White, considering the kind of announcements other teams have been making since FA began, some involving the Hawks best players from last season.

Very happy with Martin for two yrs but White for two is questionable, looking like we will re-sign last yrs team and replace the big two with three imports....I hope three imports, do we have the money for three imports.

Rhys Martin obviously a very big re-signing for the Hawks, would have been nearly impossible for them to replace, and with Brisbane a serious option they'll be pretty relieved to have this signature.

White not so exciting but he showed he can fill a role well for Bevo and you've got to have some of those guys n the roster to succeed or you'd just be Melbourne Utd ;-). Will be interesting to see if he can repeat last season's form.

Bevo will put a competitive team on the floor, I doubt the fans, especially those that remember the wooden spoon the year before, will be pissed off... Any reasonable fan would have guessed Penney would got home at the first chance, they re-signed AJ, the only significant disappointment is Aussie Kev and any beaten for that will get directed up the freeway... They should just be grateful that they had that good season straight after such a crap one!
