Premier League What's Hot/What's Not Round 2

Back for another serving. Let's hear what everyone saw this week.

What's Hot:
- Tom Cioffi AGAIN. This time with 27 & 9 in a loss to West Adelaide.
- Peter Crawford suiting up & having 25 off the bench in 21 minutes for West, including 10/10 FT
- MITCH CREEK!!! 40, 15 & 6 with two steals (presumably) against reigning Woollacott medalist Matt Lycett (who had 28 & 10 himself).
- Southern Tigers coming from behind with a 56-36 2nd half to get the win against Norwood. Can't wait to see these two teams play with Holmes (is he playing this year?)
- Sam Johns (18, 8, 11) and Jordan Dodman (24 & 10) ably supporting Creek.
- Southern & Norwood combining to make 26/55 3s (47%). High quality basketball!
- Hamish Burns with his 2nd 20 point game in as many weeks against Centrals.
- Centrals bouncing back from a 40+ point defeat to be competitive this week.
- Rockets & Warriors playing probably the 2nd best game of the round.
- Woodville import Nelson Kirksey putting up 22, 9, 3 with 4 steals. One to look out for!
- Leroy continuing his form with 17, 12, 4 & 5 steals.
- Adam Doyle showing his class with 34 on 11/18 shooting.
- South import Chris Johnson showing what he can actually do with a 27 & 13 game. 9 turnovers the only drawback.

- West women securing a 43 point win over the Mavs, who were competitive last week against Forestville.
- Norwood having 6 in double figures to blow out Southern & show them who the class team of the competition is.
- Jess Good putting up a near triple double with 14, 7, 9 & 3 steals. Steph Talbot also a class above with 14, 11 & 5.
- Sabres rolling on with a 60 point win over Centrals. Hatchard again with big numbers off the bench, this time 17 & 12 in 16 mins.
- Woodville showing they are a legit chance this year by knocking off North Adelaide.
- Import Tavarsha Scott dominating with 30 points & 11 rebounds.
- Young gun Opal Mader with 19 & 7 off the bench for North, after their starters failed to fire.
- Forestville women lighting it up for 12/25 3s.
- Sam Defrancesco with 26, 8 & 4.

What's Not:
- Daniel Lean with 7 turnovers & just 1 assist.
- 49 combined turnovers in the West vs Eastern game.
- Todd Davies only playing 3 minutes after scoring 19 last week. Did he get hurt?
- 63 fouls in the West vs Eastern game, along with other games of 50, 50, 47 &.... 33.

- Centrals women now having lost by 120 or so points in two weeks.
- Jaimi Rock going 1/9... all on 3s. Go get a layup lady!
- Mavs shooting 23% for the game.
- Tigers import Ta-Rea Cunnigan finding out what Aus bball is about, with just 7 points after 27 last week.
- Claire Johnson going 0/8, which bring her to 0/18 on the season.
- Vicki Kelson suiting up for South.
- Austral Sport choosing to go to Centrals vs Sturt over Norwood vs Southern.

Who saw what games on the weekend? Were there any things that weren't captured in the box scores?

Norwood player bouncing the ball on the belly of a floor laden Sam Johns in anger and the ref nearby not calling a tech. Appalling.

The umpiring is a major concern this early in the year, have they stretched the required umpire numbers beyond the number of capable officials?

Not Hot
Mavs women a poor social team and their men not much better! If Starling suits this week against Mavs at Morphett Vale it will be a cricket score in both Mens and Womens games!
McKendrick to have 40 in the womens game.
