Should SEQ be allowed to play WNBL finals?

Are these the facts
- SEQ didn't pay WNBL license fee - not good but shouldn't this be between SEQ liquidator/ BA and WNBL and nothing to do with other clubs
- did Adelaide pay a WNBL licence fee or did they receive a concession ?
- hang on but, did Bendigo pay their license fee prior to finals over last 2 years... And did they play finals
- who knows what other anamolies/concessions were given to other clubs over the years to allow other clubbs to stay afloat

Double standards
- reportedly a petition by other clubs not to allow SEQ to play finals- allegedly last year GF's prominent
- allegedly all clubs have signed petition - except 1, which isn't really a club any more
- who will benefit from the exclulsion of SEQ - do your own sums

How can the clubs, WNBL and BA even consider this agenda as good for basketball and the WNBL brand.

It does nothing to help the credibility of the WNBL and the imminent TV coverage . Petty self interest agendas, prejuduces and certainly no thought for the SEQ players.

What is best for promoting womens basketball and the WNBL in Australia. Certainly not this agenda. Shame on you all.

Surely letting the resurgent fairytale of SEQ players continuing to play under the adversity of the clubs demise is a better option for the league ( and the media coverage it would bring ) than current course of action.

I suppose the real issue is not should they be allowed to play finals but why should some clubs get special consideration to even come into the league over others. If you can't afford the same fees then either BA and WNBL have to say no, or they equalise the fees across the board so that they can afford to pay. Let's face it if they can bankroll one or two clubs the full amount, doesn't it not make more sense and make a fair and equatable playing field if the costs were reduced for all teams to one they could afford. If they can't even afford a much reduced fee then they really have no right to be putting a team in.

Canberra making their late charge into the finals,as predicted, if this succeeds they only have 4 more clubs to disqualify - Go Caps

I'm betting they'll be allowed to play...

Not a great look for the WNBL to celebrate a team surviving through administration, then not letting them play finals.

Why would any team pay money to BA?

For them to announce every few months that a TV deal is imminent...
