Joey
"Some of the guys have been pretty banged up all year," he said.
“Peach (Anthony Petrie) and Gibbo (Adam Gibson) probably won't play much or maybe won’t play at all, we’ll see.”

Just no show and head to Broome for some R&R. Why give Perth another game under their belt. Anything goes now and integrity is out the window so F..k em !

Gibson probably played his last game as a 6er anyway.

Adelaide still have a game to play and would rather finish on a high, with individuals looking to pad their stats.
Perth's strategy will be interesting, as they will have one eye on the finals.

On the Adelaide 36ers list of games played there should be an asterisk next to Adam Gibson's name as he hasn't PLAYED for Adelaide in ages and its almost like he is trying to replicate his role on the boomers but with far more minutes... Glad to see Teys get more minutes when Gibbo buggers off to the Bullets bench.

Given that everyone has been pretty dark on Gibbo spending

so much of this season MIA, does anyone know what injury

has dogged him all season that has caused this.

Peach has had a significant input all season IMO so

Gibbo's injury must be serious all things considered.

It allows him to play pretty consistent defense but not

offense except on rare occasions.

Banged up all year, hope that isn't the excuse Joey plans on using for his middle of the pack always makes finals title being broken.

doesn't Peach have osteo pubis?

Gibson's injury has been a coach who continually hires imports that like the ball in their hands 20 seconds of a 24 shot clock. That and this season JW seems to have a hate on him. But other than that I thought it was a foot injury but it is hard to shine in offence when Randle has the ball 80% of the time.

Would everyone be saying how great he (Randle) was if he hadn't been hitting his shots? Just giving a devils advocate view.

If Randle was missing all of his shots instead of making most of them we would not be saying he his a good player.

If Randle was missing the shots, he would've been instructed to distribute or he would've been cut. But I do understand the point about Gibson not having the ball. Same with Wilson, when you bring in ball dominant PG's what the hell was he meant to offer? Id get disinterested too, much like you hear bigs do when they don't stay involved. No question Gibson would be much more effective in a team he was the ball carrier for, its just not Adelaide.

Joey knows Gibbo's game inside and out from their Bullets & Blaze days together so just perhaps he knows something we don't in terms of getting ball dominant import guards like Ervin, Wilson & Randle.

Randle is second in the league in assists. He's not just a scorer - he's got a terrific all-round offensive game. It's the other end he struggles on.

It's a copout to try and point the fingers at others instead of Gibbo himself (injury notwithstanding..)

Pathetic end to a pathetic season by the Sixers.

Kobe 24 spot on. I liken Gibbos relationship to a father son one. Gibbo taken under Joeys wing and Gibbo stayed loyal to him trying to gain his respect. He credits Joey for helping be a Boomer and theb Joey turns on him because he wants some new toys to play with. Gibbo is persistently belittled and in battle and now finds himself having to break that tie. He must be gutted at how this has ended up but Sixers loss. After a rest and time for his foot to heal once more along with his heart he will come back strong. Go get your game back Gibbo, sometimes family are the ines who hurt you the most and you do not owe him anything. Respect yourself and trust yourself again. Joey will continue this farce until he acknowledges maybe he is contributing to this wave the team is riding.

wtf are you on about. Gibbo has been way too passive recently. Ok Randle was the man but after he went down that is when Gibbo is supposed to turn it on but we got nothing out of him. Huge dissapointment.
