Potential funding cuts - opportunity for BA?

I assume basketball is one of the other sports facing funding cuts.

I wonder if BA will get on the front foot here by treating male & female players the same & try to grab some funding from the other sports? If they dont, they risk other sports doing the reverse.

surely the (male) players have enough frequent flyer points or sponsorships to have their business class travel all paid for without the government needing to chip in? Offer them economy, if they want more they can pay for it out of their millions.

Corrupt government. Will throw bad money after bad on eggball and stickball sports which are not worldwide but make cuts to Olympic sports.

Maybe if NBL players were a chance of making the Olympic squad the government would care.
