ABA Plays of the year...
Since the dunk of the year thread caught a bit of interest i thought it was a good idea to let all the highlights come out...
Blocks, Assists, Steals, Turnovers (if you can narrow it down to one), Dunks, Buzzer beaters or whatever you like... post em below.
Here's a few of mine.
FGM: B. Bowley's shot from a seated position in the key is a definate contender.
Dunk: I'd vote for Oscar's insane catch on the hip and flush. Great athleticism to pull off that move.
Steal: Brad Gerlach from the Tigers stole the ball took on a 1 on 3 transition, made the bucket then stole the inbounds pass and beat all 3 defenders again, got fouled and made the 3 point play...
Block: A tie between Hoban & Bowley. Hoban on Bungey at Mt Barker who denied his 2 hand dunk attempt and Bowley on Farman at Mvale high above the ring... who knew he could still elevate?
Assist: You could raffle about 10 of Kosi's, I saw so many this year i'd feel bad nominating only one.
Buzzer Beaters: I don't mean to open fresh wounds but it's hard to go past Sulli's last weekend. Controversial it was, spectacular... well it was only a layup but for impact on the season it gets the nod. Woodville always on the end of those mishaps :(
