alana smith game 1 stanford
13 pts, 1 rebound in 16 mins - fine stats for first game. A lot of promise here in a good program - watch this space.

Thanks but little short of some other girls and boys
Aussies did very well.
Naar at st Mary's Imparticular. Simmons at lsu obviously...
But the best performance has to go to Rachel Brewster.
Freshman at Utah state Aggies....
22 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals.

I think the 2nd post was alluding to the fact there are a lot of Aussies playing college ball, not just Alanna Smith.

Then post about them.. The person starting this thread may be a friend of Mrs. Smith. and is proud of her. It can never be congrats from people and hey this girl or boy did well also. Just amazes me the negativity. Now you force the stat heads to tell you that Alanna was more efficient than Rachel in their minutes played as well as the opponent was better in stanfords case, also Rachel has the ball in her hands. So many arguments to be made instead of just saying go Aussies. How about instead we get a good on ya Alanna and hey Rachel Brewster tore it up also in her debut.. Because that would be a more productive
many factor to consider in any game, such as who they are playing against'(weak opponent or strong), who is playing on their team( strong seasoned players or all newbies), you cant read too much into anything really especially the first game, but agree with above poster, wouldn't it just be nice to say hey our Aussie players had a great night.
