Perth Arena seating

Want to go to first Wildcats game and check out.

Too far away from the action or still ok from the Nickel areas? Thoughts? Faces easy to see?

I have never sat in the nickel section but I've heard everywhere has a decent view. I sit in Bronze and I'm more than happy with how close I am to the action.

Seat in the nickel once and will still a pretty good view.

The view will be fine... it's the sound that will be the biggest thing that changes and doesn't get better the more expensive your seats sit.

Here's the trick. If you're seats are in the nose bleeds, just don't look at the court when you walk into the arena. Wait till you get to your seat then take in the view. You won't know what you are missing.

301/323 the angle doesn't bother you?

What is your alternative for watching the game?
And how good is your eyesight?

It's nothing like watching it on tv form those seats, so you need to acclimatise.

My eyesight is not what it once was, and glasses can only partially compensate.

DO you go to the footy at all?
Cos the worst seat at Perth Arena is better than the Best seat at Subi.

Angle doesn't bother us at all. I think its pretty good value for Bronze membership.

The money I save on being on the side in silver is spent on beers!

Worth noting kids will love the atmosphere where ever they sit. Great entertainment. Wouldn't worry too much about the view.

Was actually looking at getting a silver membership one day, so if that's closer to watching it from tv, then will have to go with that.

Atm, subscribed to NBL Live for the full season. Loving that also.

If you're loving watching it on your tiny phone screen then you'll be positively over the moon with your silver seats! :p

It was ok on Galaxy Note, then I realised we had an Ipad Mini :) but yes, I don't think it'll beat being there and taking in the atmosphere :)

Why is the Arena inside blue? What has the colour blue got to do with WA, Perth or the Wildcats? Weird colour choice which makes the place look like an indoor aquatic centre.

It's the same colour scheme as the tennis court. It wasn't built for the Wildcats.

The stand behind one basket is temporary scaffolding. When you stand together it starts rocking. Few billy $ nowadays doesn't get you much.

Why you got to be so racist. Shouldn't matter what color Perth arena is.

At the stage end? Its called retractable seating. You know, for the stage.

Yeah but it feels like you are about to fall off. I don't think it would pass safety standards.

I'm sure you'd know.

Yes I have, but I don't have the flare for exaggeration that you carry. It's no different then any other retractable sitting that I have experienced.

My seats are at the other end, but back in the day seats on the stage were my favourite at the old Entertainment centre. When everyone would stamp their feat ("we will rock you") it was like an enormous boom-box.

The Blue is a bit much, it's everywhere, but after a couple of years you get used to it.

"Better than anything else in the NBL.."

THat doesn't make it good by default.

Having been a member there for 2 years, I don't really have a problem with it doe.

Yeah by default, Australia sucks for indoor stadiums as everyone is obsessed with outdoor footy codes.

Reply #558534 | Report this post

#491 you're the one making claims about Australian standards. which standards apply here? What specifically is wrong with it to make it not comply?
