NBL on Social Media

Would love the NBL to show snippets / clips from the glory days on their Facebook and Twitter, etc.

Adds another dimension to their media offerings, the NBA does that pretty well. More stuff to post and keep in the feeds.

Hopefully they'll catch on and post more stuff about players doing things in the community or share interesting club page posts.

Just let them focus on current content for a bit. No need to spread themselves thin at this point just when they're starting to get it right.

NBA would have infinitely larger content archives/access and massive media teams. NBL could be just 1-2 people.

The NBL are doing a great job on social media, the 36ers on the other hand. Woeful

I think what they have been doing so far on Social Media has been excellent this year.

I'm sure there is still plenty to come in time.

Early days for sure and the league is doing well on the social media front, but good recommendations for the future..

the most exciting season in ages is happening right now.

Another one may be the interesting facts, "On this day in 198x, Andrew Gaze dropped 50 on the xxxxxxx xxxxxxxs"

NBL Facts and John Casey do a bit of that on twitter, so definitely doable.

Have sixers got their knickers in a twist cause they don't like the league doing parts of their job. Are they acting like children and throwing teddy out the cot instead of embracing change and helping their own cause?

With basketball magazines virtually becoming redundant (still see SLAM around) would also be worth sharing interesting articles on players, etc so casual fans know a bit more and become accustomed to them.

Not a hard thing to find on Facebook with a bit of Googling, then sharing.

Used to buy One on One back in the 90's.. good times, would end up knowing more about players from other teams and not hate them as much, until they play against your team.

I put up some old One on One stories or PBT stories on ATF. But haven't done it for a while now

Nbl doesn't need to keep wallowing in the past. We all know about the past. We breed forward thinking

Not a bad idea to acknowledge the glory days, maybe only more so during heritage round.

Not overkill it with the past, but the facts are also a good touch, good way to allow younger generations to be informed about the history of the league and become more interested.

How is it wallowing in the past? Every sporting league shows their classic historical matches and moments.

hm, I don't think new / casual fans will know about the past. Don't forget some of the audience that the NBL are targeting were born during or after the glory days.

History and tradition are pretty important.

LOL wallowing in the past. The past is what made the NBL great and what keeps most of us around.

Time and a place for the past. If it is Heriatge round or if something special happened on a significant date then yes. Just for the sake of it. No

Need to push the current product and talent which we have a lot of this year.
