Great that the draw is up more than a week before the first round starts.

Even better that we won't have to read the traditional BSA bashing and complaints about people not being able to "plan their busy lives"

There is no longer promotion relegation, and teams in Div 3 or below may be moved around after the first 5 games if they are in the wrong division (i.e. constantly being thrashed or convincingly winning).

Summer season will consist of 13 rounds, plus 1 final (i.e. top 2 only).

There will be a three week break between the end of the summer and start of the winter seasons (encompasses march long weekend and Easter).

Youth League Division 2 and Men's Division 4 and below will no longer be fully timed games.

should have the ability to move div 1 and 2 teams around as well if they aren't cutting the mustard

? How does that work. 10 teams in div 1 and 2. No room to move anyone. Can't imagine anyone would tolerate 2 sturt teams in a div1/2 comp ever again. Forget mustard, read competition rules.

some clubs dreaming putting Div 4 players in Div 1 and 2 teams - hope they like them moving on after a brief basketball sojourn - seen it happen for so many years now.

no junior wants to be embarrassed or have a negative sporting experience regularly and that is what happens - clubs must be realistic - success in div 5- move to div 4 - success there move to div 3 - average results div 3 - that is where your game is at for now.

rather than - put walk ups into div 1/2 - lose by 20+ every week - walks out after 12-18 months
