NBA League Pass on Apple TV / PS4

Hi guys. Just wondering if anyone else is having trouble with the preseason games being blocked?

Last year the nba app on the ps4 didnt show any games until just before the start of the season.

I just air played from the ipad in the end. Worked fine, just a pain in the ass

i Just have the same problem the games show up this year on apple tv in melb last year i changed to new york but games work fine with ipad or on my mac

You can only watch them from mobile devices because of broadband blackouts. Air play it from your mobile device to tv

I don't understand this. I can play all games fine on Pc fine using league pass but can't play any on ps4 using same account due to blackout or being blocked.
What's the difference.. Same IP address and everything.

Quality and speed is much better for me using app rather than stream or hdmi.

I emailed support about this very same issue and they advised me that the preseason games weren't supported but there will be an update to the app just before the regular season starts.

I have watched a few pre-season games on the Apple TV app. Did they mean the PS4 app requires an update?
