Laura graces our TV at last!
after only being restricted to watching her game from the WNBA web site - Connecticut finally had a televised game on ESPN with Laura getting some minutes.
The Sun still on top - bad a bad loss at home (broke a 15 straight home winning streak)went cold shooting at 24%.
nice little fake / wait - 2 points and one.
missed an open 8 footer - couple of boards - plenty of boxing out.
bringing the ball down several times off the inbound - will she be doing this for the Fellas?
was part of a 4 player mix up for the sun that led to an open driver to the ring for detroit - whilst every sun scrambled.
signs are good getting some minutes after some superstars - taj mc williams-franklin is in her mid thirties as a power forward / centre - much media talk re her hanging up boots over next few seasons - just right for our laura to step up.
Erin - hope you took notes - can't wait for you to get over and back up whalen!
TV broadcast said Nykesha Sales was not doing anything in the off season - imagine getting her over here for a cameo / season!

You would imagine all of this will lead to a big WNBL for her - although she may be a late starter as connecticut will make the play offs.
If anyone else watched it on ESPN - did you see the intro shots of the hotel / casino / stadium complex? - it was bigger than westfield marion.
Maybe the fellas could get ask her to bring some signed connecticut merchandise back and use it as raffle / door prizes over home games during WNBL season - along with fellas merchandise as well!
