Livebasketball.net will not be showing the game

I just checked the livebasketball.net page, and I couldn't find any of the upcoming Australia games on their schedule.

I then wrote to their customer support, who promptly replied and said " unfortunately the game will not be broadcast in Australia do to broadcasting rights."

So Basketball Australia has it wrong, and maybe there is something unresolved yet at channel nine?

I can see it on Livebasketball.tv

Good news is it says that the game is free to all registered users!

Yes they seem to have changed it since they spoke to me. It does appear to be free after registering also. It is geo-blocked in New Zealand, but they're lucky enough to have it on TV like any normal country would. 17 hours away, and I am keen.

well done basketball Australia 141 thousand people watched free to air. Then only the die hard basketball fans could watch the second game could have been a great opportunity to build on the first game.

It will be on Youtube as per the Womens game and the recent U19 world champs.

It`s owned by Fiba so they do it through there channel, the coverage was the feed from Sky Tv last night and was decent coverage and not just the single camera wide shot like the world champs.

Can you watch it delayed on the Youtube channel or fiba livebasketball? I don't get home from work until at least 6pm then have to help with dinner and the kids and won't get to turn on the telly until around 8. Happy to wait and watch a full replay if I need to as well. Why can't it just be on FTA and then I can record it on my PVR (which hasn't been used in a long time but could have been useful today!)

It looks like the Women's replay went up at around 10ish PM Sydney time last night.

If anything like the world champs it takes around 24-36 hours and then the full game is uploaded.

Well hopefully I can see it tonight. I would say that the 5pm time slot killed any chance of it being on FTA.
