I was under the impression that either Moult or O'Brien was going to get transitioned into that role?
Rod Popp retiring.
Still to be seabl head coach.

'Rod Popp retiring.
Still to be seabl head coach.'
Is that an oxymoron?

maybe the Dandenong, then keysborough now ex Chelsea d.o.c.might apply for the position
Brian B - that's interesting isn't it!! I hear Chelsea aren't going to sit on their hands looking for a replacement either. Up and about!
Brian B interesting comment, when was the move made down at Chelsea?
Word is Chelsea looking next door (Blues) again to fill the position in the hopes of more people being brought accross.
Blues HBO and CEO travelling the States looking at Stadiums for their redevelopment and attending NBA Summer League games. Nice gig!
Kevin / Steve is that you? Just use your real name champ. Brian B is a bit lame. Yuor last topics started and commented on kind of give it away ha ha.
No one from Blues would go to Chelsea in that role. My point is CEO and HBO looking to take Frankston places with Stadium and Player development - hence USA trip. Why would the HBO leave there to go to Chelsea?
Perhaps Brian B has a view?

How can Frankston afford to send CEO and mate to USA when they cant afford to pay the Big V fines?? Also, why are these 2 looking at stadiums when all the funding they were banking on fell through! Jolly good times at Franga!
Has the Kilsyth appointment been made? Story is Chris Anstey is contender.
Is it, Watkins not the best communicator or teacher out there. DOC job may suit him, but NSW can cover this loss no probs.
Who with? For little $ and lots of travel... I feel they'll struggle.
Watkins not the best communicator or teacher....2nd in the world and a 3peat for NSW. Not a bad job if you ask me. Without doubt one of the best junior coaches if not the best junior coach in Australia at the moment. Unbelievable work ethic and huge knowledge of the game and all his player LOVE playing for him. Maybe get your facts straight before criticising him

Brian B, just done a bit of research, you went whacketty whack whack!!!! on Gulls Facebook page if anon is right!!!!
Reckon NSW might fall into a nice replacement, the person SA should have appointed...
"the person SA should of appointed" Who was that?

Maybe there could be someone further west who might well be suited and welcomed if the HPM doesn't get his nose out of joint.

How does this warrant a thread ?
Too much trollage by people with agendas.
And can someone pls fix the typo in the post Title ?
How does Chelsea even have a role called Director of Coaching?
Associations are SMBs
They don't have CEOs
They don't have boards
They don't have directors
Maybe a GM and a head coach?
Agree with ^. Head Coach and a Stadium Manager appropriate titles for most associations.

Associations are not SMB's, they are mostly microbusinesses at best.
Always funny when you read titles such as CEO, GM, HBO, High Performance, etc etc. being thrown around a "stadium" environment.

Paul Meseche was the SA person who was going for job. Sturt are so lucky to keep him.
He's not who they are referring to as the person SA should have appointed. He's further north currently.
