Wow, no. They are in the top 70 D1 NCAA programs in America. They aren't going to be impressed with their opposition at all.

Wow they are playing terrible teams...do they know the standard they are getting??

The tour organiser might be looking for a new gig after the tour is over.

Normally these teams play NBLor SEABL sides at least

Yale lost to Ringwood BIG V Champ men last night by about 10 points.
Ringwood won fairly convincingly.
Not sure some of the posts above have any idea in regard to relevant standards.
Last night proved that the top BIG V teams are relatively strong - compared to than Mid to low ranked D1 US College teams.
The Ringwood team was too strong physically.
It will be interesting to see how Yale go vs the select Youth team tonight at the State Baskrtball Centre.

Ha ha laugh at the result as it once again shows how little the people on here know about standards etc.

Seem to forget that the SEABl and BIG state champ team have fully matured men and women running around vs 18-23 year old kids at college. Sure some may be great athletes but they are still very raw in a lot of cases.

Team of athletes in their physical prime defeats team of young nerds. That is no shock.

People also need to consider that prior to last night's game, Yale has only trained together for 6 days and stepped off a plane around just 24 hours earlier. Comparatively, Ringwood are coming off a full season together.

I was at the game, and Ringwood looked sharp while Yale looked like they were still finding their feet as a team given their early stage of preparations.

People on this forum really don't understand the true standard of college ball. It's constantly being overstated by people with stars in their eyes.

While I'm at it, would Yale beat Philly? Hahaha

The only time you'll ever see Yale beating Philly is when they're making a cheesecake.

Beat "all star youth team" by 16 Poor game with not a lot of passing DJ was good but will not pass the ball Had as many turnovers and blocked shots as he did points Corneilson was good and hit a few 3s, Laminano solid, Hughes also had some good minutes Neither team looked great!

Saw game against Berkeley tonight. Class act and too strong for local team not helped again by players who are hell bent on being a one man show. Time to pass the ball before no one wants to play with you

Do you really think that any US College coach is going to let one of his players throw up 17 three point attempts per game at 27%.
You are kidding - have a look at the shooting %'s in College.
For some reason in Australia volume shooters with very poor %'s from the floor seem to be the "stars".
Won't be acceptable in the US. Some adjustments will need to be made!!!

Agree with you anon^ about one thing, that is the notion that US College Coaches will not care that much that a player from here was a volume shooter with a free license to do what he/she wants on court.

Once our kids go over, they are soon given a reality check and if they don't quickly understand what the coaches are after and how they fit into the team, they will have to get used to sitting down for a while until they come to grips with these changes.

Knowing some who are over there right now, if you get into the right system you will love it, but more importantly if you think you are 'top dog' but you are faking it you will be found out immediately...
