Big V Div 1 men finals

So I was looking at the teams for the crossover of the finals in D1 men, and in the Watson conference there is Camberwell on 11 wins and Chelsea, Warrandyte and Latrobe on 10 wins, sitting in positions 2-5.

I looked forward to see how each team was playing in the last 2 rounds, and noticed that Camberwell and Warrandyte are playing 1 game less, with no rematch from their cancelled game scheduled.

This is really gonna effect the outcome of the finals. Obviously if they play each other one team has to lose and will possibly drop out of the finals letting Latrobe or Chelsea slide in.

Ah ok,thanks. Big V obviously hasn't been updated in the fixtures or anything. So who's going to make it??

1st: Casey (16-4)
2nd: Camberwell (11-8) Latrobe, Warrandyte, Casey
3rd: Chelsea (10-9) Blackburn, Geelong, Sth Pen
4th: Warrandyte (10-9) Casey, Camberwell, Blackburn
5th: Latrobe City (10-10) Camberwell, Melb uni
could even throw in
6th: Melb Uni (9-10) Sth Pen, Latrobe, Keilor

Head to Heads will be crucial.

Warrandyte needs 1 more win then Latrobe as Latrobe have the split on them.

Melb Uni would need 3 wins and results to go there way as Warrandyte owns the split on them, they do have 3 very winnable games though so could keep Warrandyte and Chelsea very honest over the last 2 rounds of the season.

Chelsea 3-9 since winning first 7. Playing bottom 2 in Watson, but no certainties and Geelong (L). 12 Wins but still may miss. Not sure if need to worry abt who else makes it, Casey looking Strong, no pun, look to have them covered in Watson Conf. Expectations not weighing them down yet!
Shepparton appears to have edge looking at results but haven't seen any of Terrill Conf teams.

Shepparton have done a great job coming up from Division 2 considering they have not been able to add significant talent to their roster like Casey did by picking up 3 or 4 ex Seabl players.

That's the concern, they will probably want to move into SCM but will they have the depth of junior talent coming through to make that transition sustainable.

I am sure they think that they can pay 2 high quality imports and recruit others but you just wonder how a team made up of predominantly players from outside of the Casey program will be received by those close to the inner sanctum.
