Hawks retain Tim Coenraad

Rob Beveridge has added another valuable piece to his impressively growing roster by signing 2014/15 Hawks MVP Tim Coenraad to the Hawks for a further season.

Coenraad, who is coming of a career best season joins Rhys Martin, Tyson Demos, Oscar Forman and Larry Davidson as returning players from last season's roster, giving Head Coach Rob Beveridge a solid returning nucleus in addition to new recruits Kevin Lisch and AJ Ogilvy.
Bevo is talking about adding a defensive 4/3 as the second import.

Must have another solid local guard in mind to burn the import spot in the front court? Demos is coming off a down season and is the sole bench guard at this point. Would've thought Davidson as a 5/4 and Coenraad as a 3/4 gave them enough flexibility and coverage.

They definitely need an athletic presence in that 3-4 spot, you don't get far in the NBL without it. Given Vukona, Petrie, Worthington, Redhage, Walker and Wagstaff are all signed, Motum is either Adelaide or OS and Fotu is OS, it probably has to be an import.

They do need one more quality guard though, probably someone with a little bit more size.

If Coenrad is the backup 3, Hawks will be tough.

Turned up at SEABL couple of weeks back to find Tim going around. Wasn't even in the record /program. Had his hands full with Roy Booker that night. But will be good seeing him going around again.

hawks are looking good. Will be solid team.

Inside target with AJ and around him Foreman and Lisch who can destroy teams from the 3 point line.

Not Kyle Armour. Think someone who lives a little closer to the Gong.

Have the Hawks now got the two statistically worst players in their backcourt?
