Embiid surgery, to miss coming NBA season

Hot off the wire..

Joel Embiid will undergo a 2nd surgery on his foot. Expect him to miss the entire 2015-16 season.

Works out very well for majority, but when there is smoke there is usually fire for the few who have issues. Many hall of fame bigs in the 80's 90's had great careers free of these foot issues. Philly took a chance hasn't worked out.... yet.

Apparently has grown about 2 inches over the past year or so. Though that could have a big factor also.

its that dreaded navicular bone which ended a few careers in the AFL and what Jack Trengove from Melbourne has been suffering from the last 2-3 years

His major upside in being drafted was his agility, this will probably hamper that.
Plus the reports during the season that he gained a ton of weight and was a problem with rehab staff may have contributed.
Philly probably knew before the draft and couldn't trade him coz he would fail the physical. They must have been rapt that okafur slipped.
There is a rumour that Denver are looking to ship Lawson out for Embiid hoping he recovers whilst they tank.
