Upon checking the SEABL site, it appears Grant Yates suited in 2 games this season, for limited returns.

Yatesy would be 30 - 31 now, and if he is a teacher, who could blame him for not finding big returns on the weekend!

Yatesy here. I am still in Canberra teaching. Retired from ABA 3 years ago but did fill in for a Victorian road trip 2 or so years ago. Have a son who's 18 months old and another baby due in November, sex currently unknown. Throws down a sweet tantrum but that's about it so far. Not sure what a lot of the other boys are up to as i'm so slack with keeping in touch.

Was wondering what you had been up to. Cant beleive your still living in that hole (ACT), good to hear your teaching though. I know this return is a little delayed but thought Id try, thinking about coming back to vist the old cannons stomping grounds, Im only approx a 3.5 hour drive away. Have you heard from Frank Arsego and any of the other old school SA coaches.

Denman gone, Keysy gone, Petrie gone. Poor bugger's gonna have it tough. How you been keepin? Any more little ones arrived yet?
Sorry to say but yes I am still in the Nation's Hole, sorry, Capital. My wife's family are here so we probably won't be heading anywhere else for a while. Might play State League again next season, possibly with Dwighty. (Someone's gotta cover my ass on D)!!!

No he hasn't been playing. He's got 2 kids now and is working for the AFP in Protective Services. He has said he'd return to State League if he had some mates to play with. He's packed on a few kgs as well with the AFP work, doubt it will affect his hops too much though.
