Simmons has tweeted that he'll be heading to the east coast in August. If an NBL team or two seizes this opportunity they may actually benefit from it.

Great chance to see LSU, Simmons and fellow Aussie Darcy Malone!
Darcy Malone has become a pretty solid defender. Needs to work on his offense big time though.
Boomers have got some Descent young big men coming through... Good to see.

This is great stuff and good to see the Kings getting in on it... Love this kids game and can't wait to see him in action since the AU/NZ qualifiers in Canberra...
It's great to see him really committing to LSU and not being all about getting to the NBA... Focussed on getting his wins for MVA and now LSU and not just using it as an obvious stepping stone to the big paycheque...

Yale's men's basketball team is also touring Australia in August....
Question: I thought incoming freshmen were excluded from overseas tours that college teams take? Has that rule changed (if it ever was a rule)?

Don't they only ever include incoming freshman? When the college teams visited Cairns last year they all looked like high school players.
