It's going to be interesting to see how they approach it, because our most talented team is big and slow, but is that our best team?
Are we a better chance beating other medal contenders playing a faster, high-pressure game, or can we beat countries who are superior half-court teams at their own style purely with talent?
If it's the former, who are the players that miss out because they are lead of foot and who are the role players who step in to help create a tempo our stars can thrive in?

In this case, paul, I don't think it really matters. We're not beating the USA either way, and we're better than the rest either way.
To me the important thing is committed and on the same page, and is versatile enough to deal with the occasional curveball from an opponent.

All bar jackson, she's done! Way to many injuries, she hasn't been able to play consecutive minutes for last couple of years
If no Jackson....
Who else would you add to the frontline?
Batkovic, bunton, Tomlinson or penaluna.

Nat Burton must be in the team. She can replace LJ if LJ is still injured, or replace Bishop otherwise.
Also bring in Tessa Lavey in place of Erin Phillips for a big upgrade in the backcourt.
Penny Taylor is a has-been. Jarry should have her spot.
Tomlinson to come in for Cambage for added speed up and down the court because that is what wins games of basketball.
Sally Pearson to take Madgen's place, and bring in Michelle Jenneke for Mitchell.

Batkovic maybe but also getting a bit too tired, not Tomlinson, heard she's already been cut from next group, batkovic is a maybe but again getting a bit tired. Joyce has his eye on Scherf, but he does like Nat burton, or is it Bunton I can never remember, so that spot is hard to fill, does he take an oldie that can play limited minutes but with a wealth of experience or take a young one that's fit and athletic but no experience at that level.
Joyce likes lavey, burton and Clydesdale.
No doubt they bring energy... But how do we squeeze points and rebounds out of them? I can't see it...
