His handle was a bit loose in GF2, but he was a quality import PG, and seemed to have a good unselfish attitude unlike a certain other high profile import PG this past season. Don't know that he's an NBA-level guy, but should be a strong Euro PG at worst.

Apparently a great team guy too. Crucial player in the Cairns run this season.

He was absolutely brilliant for a PG straight out of college. Unfortunately for Cairns I feel a player of his quality was always going to be hard to hold on to.

He always seemed to be a one and done player for Cairns but they haven't opened the door to grab other draftees etc so if they sell the club as a pathway then they may find another solid player.

hard to hold on to a guy like that, especially if he has NBA dreams and can find foot in the door.
But i dont think the Taipans have given up on retaining him yet, won't be easy though.

I think he's still an NBA chance, any doubters should watch the SEC 2014 conference final game vs Kentucky. I watched that game after I heard cairns signed him and couldn't believe he wasn't drafted. Certainly not a highlight reel standout player but very solid all round and 4 years of high quality college ball under his belt. I hope he comes back to Cairns and the NBL but wouldn't hold my breath.
