If there was one Aussie who deserves that honour its definitely Lindsay Gaze.
First Aussie ever in Naismith HOF I believe.
First non-US or non-Euro coach in the HOF.

Certainly had an accomplished career.
Although calling him a 7 times Olympian I don't feel is strictly accurate.
(Australia didn't actually qualify for the Olympics proper in 68. So whilst he certainly represented his country, they were not Olympians.)

Dazz, more importantly, and not diminishing the accomplishment, but does being a coach count as being an Olympian? I have never heard of the swimming coaches or tennis coaches or gymnastics coaches etc. qualifying as Olympians.
