No Eagles in the preseason comp! Still $$$$ though

So the F-Eagles aren't in the preseason tournament for the "Premier League" but will still get to run a bar and canteen making money off clubs and spectators that do give a shit about the local comp and it success!
When will BSA put an end to rewarding the elite clubs and start to even out the opportunities for all clubs

Guess you get a bonus being the most central club to the CBD....

Every club is different. Why can't CEntrals for example put their hand up for the tender to being advertised to run the cafe there?

Anon has your club explored the opportunity to build a bar or takeover the canteen. Why not invest time in this venture rather than trying to take money of the clubs that have doneso?

Anon above some clubs just can't do that. Woodville can't as stadium they have isn't BSA owned or run. Same as Norwood I believe. It is an unfair playing ground but not sure we can make it even.

Until BSA seriously deal with stadiums, stadium management structures, competition structure nothing will change.

Forestville will say it is too close to the regular season and they don't want to play

All other clubs can.

BSA should take all the money from admission if there is going to be any charges

They should then invest the money into glass backboards on all courts where ABA is played , sorry Premier league

Liek SAAFL, if your club ammenities are not up to standard , you don't get finals, events or anything till you improve.

BSA run most of the stadiums that have ABA , so why not show some balls and run the money from the preseason comp and reinvest???

Forestville doesn't need the money

BSA do get all the money from admissions. Just like they do for all other games.

Forrestville only get bar and canteen money from the weekend.

Even without participation

So how can they not be included? surely they have no choice but to oplay as they're licenced to the league..

BSA should have rostered them in the program and said all games forfieted will be points and fines if team not fielded.

I don't see how they can opt out

126, if you're any older than 12 I'd be absolutely amazed.

Your post shows a serious lack of understanding about how the real world operates.

Pretty sure it's free entry like it has been the past 3 years, it's a central location that's easy for everyone to get to

Surely this benefit should go to the Eagles given the amount they must be paying for the office, bar and canteen facilities.

Most every other club fails to put teams into div 1 junior grades.

Why should we be made to enter a "mickey mouse" pre season tournament?

Teams

Um there are only 6 mens & 6 womens teams competing..

Eagles are not the only team not to enter..

And it is not compulsory to do so !

No South, Centrals, North, West in as well..

Waste of time really aside from the teams that go out getting some cobwebs dusted and allowing all others to have a look at their line ups it mean nothing.
