Well, if it were a Boomers hype chart I would!

He just needs some time to grow into his physical talents, but I expect him to be our number one PF for years to come once he does. I think he'll be in this year's team to develop ala 2013 and he'll get the chance to make his case for Rio.

The poor way that Australia defended the pick and roll at the world champs this year, I would have AJ Ogilvy in the mix to have another shot blocker/rim protector at the 5 spot.

I think Andersen, Petrie and D Martin are done at the International level.

Team I would take

G - Mills / Delly / Dante
G - Broekhoff / Goulding
F - Ingles / Newly
F - Baynes / Simmons / Bairstow
C - Bogut / Ogilvy

If I was picking a team for right now to beat NZ, assuming Bogut isn't available, I'd go:

Baynes, Bairstow, Andersen
Motum, Petrie
Newley, Broekhoff
Ingles, Exum
Mills, Dellavedova, Gibson

Quite possibly could slot Blanchfield or Goulding ahead of Gibson given there are already quite a few ballhandlers.

D Martin has far too many liabilities to be an international player.

"Simmons is better than Motum."

Have you spoken to anyone who was at Boomers camp about that? He will be, but not yet.

Not entirely convinced Simmons is or will be ready for the qualifiers this year against NZ. AUSTRALIA need a stretch 4 who can shoot from the outside but also has a bit of 'beef' to handle opposition 4. Could be Newley's swan song but wouldn't expect yo see Anderson or probably Gibson if they pick a 10 man squad and everybody is healthy.

When will people realise that Bogut will never represent Australia again?
His body is too precious to GSW
He's finally having somewhat more of a healthy year this year.

He has said he wants to play at the Olympics in rio several times.
He will play if he's healthy...
You would expect curry and Thompson to get that period off also.

Dellavedova Exum
Mills Broekhoff Goulding
Ingles (Jois or Blanchfield or Newley)
Baynes Bairstow Motum/Simmons
Bogut Maric or Ogilvy

If no Bogut move Baynes to C and keep Motum and Simmons
